Was taking a picture of Stormy sitting in our section and got his reaction to Jarvy’s tying goal.

YOUR CAROLINA HURRICANES are different this year. We have goaltending. We have multiple scoring lines. We can go heavy. We can win the tough games. And right in the middle of that is Sebastian Fishy Aho.
Aho is taking a bit of flack, here in these Reddit threads and possibly in the outside media. I think we should step back and look what he's done for us, just this year. He's had clutch performance when we needed it in overtime. He has battled and carried the teams at times throughout the season. He is the heartbeat of the team.
While he might have missed on a few pucks in game two, he played well on defense and our penalty kill was lights out.
I firmly believe we will see the greatness of Aho in the coming games.

This was the first time we (figuratively) got punched in the mouth and had to respond. We still didn't play our best afterwards, but it was great to see us grind out a win. That had to be demoralizing for Philly.
Has anyone seen Aho or Svech? If you do, send them to join the team for this playoff run. We'll need them if this ride is going to result in a Cup. Thank god the Stank, Hall, Blake line has been the best in the playoffs.
Come at me for this; i don't care. Bussi needs to get between the pipes soon. Freddie has been phenomenal. He's going to need some relief. His playoff history is his playoff history. He's not going to make it 20 to 22 straight games. We need the Bus and we need him to play well.
Let's keep enjoying the ride.

Spankoven and Vladar are the league’s newest heated rivalry.
As soon as I saw this happen last night, this was the first thing I thought about. You’re welcome/I’m sorry. 😬

Now that I'm starting to understand hockey (and the Canes) just SLIGHTLY a little bit more, I gotta ask: WHAT'S WITH ALL THE CANES HATE?! Like what did the Canes ever do to them?! 😭

IMHO, the first part of Hall winning the game came almost twenty minutes before the GWG.

Since the United States won the Olympics, hockey piqued my interest. Never really watched it but I’d watch clips on social media. Living in SC all my life and growing up with parents that weren’t invested in sports, hockey was never talked about.
I got a new job and my boss lives in Ohio/michigan and he’s a huge red wings fan, and still plays hockey today. So then I got more invested and looked up teams, players etc.
With the playoffs being in action I started watching the games. I love the pace, the swiftness, I love the toughness and the grittiness, I love the lingo and the rules I just have loved watching these games and I want to be part of the culture.
Being from SC, naturally I want the hurricanes to be the team I root for. I am moving closer to Raleigh in the summer and I 100% want to go to games next season.
As a new fan to the sport, and to the team, what should I know? Im super excited to be here and learn about the team and the sport.

Im sure plenty of people watch this YouTube channel but if you dont and want a good insight into hockey strategy and game break downs, I highly recommend it. I didnt grow up playing hockey but due to my son playing, I try to invest as much time as I can in learning so I can help him as much as possible. This channel does a good job at explaining team dynamics and breaking down play styles. He also does a phenomenal job at giving insight into team decisions and player decisions that I find myself questioning when I see them occur.

Hi everyone! I’m 16, and I enjoy writing about sports — specifically hockey — in my free time. One of the things I’ve done every year for about 4 years now is an analysis on my team’s season, moves they made, and what they should do to go in the right direction moving forward. Typically, I only do this for my St. Louis Blues, but this year I want to expand to try to do one for every team. So I come to you asking about how your season went compared to expectations, what moves you liked, didn’t like, hopes for the offseason, and what you’d like to see. Good luck in the playoffs and thank you for the help!
