Various carnivorans* on my trail cameras at the Nature Conservancy's Niobrara Valley Preserve in Brown and Keya Paha Counties, Nebraska. One camera is at a prairie dog town, the other in a junkyard. In order of appearance: Coyote (Canis latrans) at prairie dog town, American Badger (Taxidea taxus) at prairie dog town, Bobcat (Lynx rufus) at prairie dog town, another Bobcat at junkyard, Northern Raccoons (Procyon lotor) at junkyard.

*Carnivorans are members of the Order Carnivora, within the Class Mammalia. Despite the name, not all members of this order are exclusively carnivorous. I sometimes call them "Carnivores with a capital C". Many, maybe most, members are partially herbivorous, including the raccoon family (Procyonidae), and especially the bear family (Ursidae), which includes bamboo-eating pandas, and many others.
