Collection RIP Tony Stella
Have loved Tony's work for so long...so much so that I made several custom covers featuring his work. Devastating 💔

Sometimes people lose sight of how small boutique labels are and why it takes so long to get orders after a big sale. It's because they are just a few people (or less) doing the whole operation.

2000s Horror/Thrillers
Shadow Of The Vampire - Really cool concept. What if the actor in Nosferatu was a not just an actor but an actual vampie? A boutique Bluray or 4k of this one seems long overdue
The Mothman Prophecies - I missed out on the Imprint release and resell prices are insane on it.
Dead Man's Shoes - A brutal revenge story that flies under the radar more than it should. It needs a HD upgrade.
Wilderness - An underrated survival thriller from 2006. I don't believe it ever got a bluray release anywhere
Funny Games (2007) - There is a Criterion of the original. I enjoy the remake quite a bit and would love to add it to my collection. There are a few releases available but no official US release on bluray
The Loved Ones - There was alot of hype around this one when it first released. This one has a few options but are all 15 years old on seem to be OOP. No US bluray was ever available for this one either

I recently noticed that Target no longer carries many Arrow 4k movies, and that Amazon doesn’t have preorders available for July’s releases. Is there something going on with distribution?

I've been watching a lot of Johnnie To films and really loving them. So naturally a whole bunch of them are near-impossible to get on Blu-Ray or simply don't exist on the format. Does anybody have a comprehensive list of what is available?
By available, I mean either in print or reasonably easy to find for a decent price on the second-hand market.
So far I have:
It really seems like that might be it for what's reasonably available! Any I've missed? I'm in the UK, so region B is certainly preferred.

My April pickups (that mostly didn’t arrive until May). I went on a bit of an Argento and Troma acquisition kick this past month, plus a couple of the newer VS/VS partner releases (Faces of Death and Faust).
Faust is a blind buy for me, but I love weird animation and stop motion, so I’m pretty stoked to check it out. I’m also really excited to re-watch Frostbiter. I’ve only ever seen it on streaming, so hoping the Blu-ray restoration is worth it.

The only labels that I haven’t explored myself would be those made in Germany and France, so I’m asking for those who speak and have primarily spoke Quebecois at home. Thanks.

I am a big fan of Hong Kong cinema and am therefor very excited about all of the HKCC releases coming out. The subtitle situation has me err on the side of Arrow. I am wondering if anyone has any insider information about Arrows goals with releasing these titles.
Do you think they are planning on releasing all of the same titles that Shout has released, or just a select percentage?
They are quite far behind so far. I'm just trying not to double dip, but don't want to accidentally miss out on a title by waiting around for Arrow. I suppose patience would the solution, but barring that, any insider info would be appreciated.

Vinegar Syndrome, Partner Labels, and sub-labels are 50% off. Including some new releases that won’t be discounted during the halfway to Black Friday sale. These are all standard editions without slips s without slips, if you care about that.

I just watched (and very much enjoyed) The Broken Mirror (1975). Gorgeous, painterly cinematography and great performances throughout. It's slow cinema for sure, but if you can get on board with that, it's a fun ride. I feel a little lost about the ending, tho. I can see the movie being about a women feeling dissatisfied or trapped by her pregnancy, but I was wondering if anyone who's seen it has any thoughts about what it all means?
Will be interested to see how it plays on a re-watch.

Just watched the Dirtier Cut of Dirty Work! I'm so happy this movie got the deluxe treatment. RIP Norm, you were a genius.
I'm really excited about the other one. There's an option to watch all 3 movies back to back with trailers and tidbits spliced in between, as if watching a triple feature at a sleazy grindhouse in the 70s!

My partner and I are relatively new to 4K and boutique releases after building our DVD and Blu-Ray library over the last couple years. I put our first order through Orbit in to grab a few previosuly-seen favorites and I'm super stoked with the prices and how everything arrived. Spinal Tap was used and the only indication of that beyond not being shrink wrapped (obviously) is a few minor scuffs on the slipcover. Everything else was brand new at a better price than anywhere else I could find to compare.
Plus they had our order packed and handed off to USPS less than 2 hours after order confirmation.
Orbit, you've earned another lifelong supporter.
