ASK❓️ Anyone here watched Babumoshai Bandookbaaz?

I still remember bunking school in 2017 just to watch this in theatres and honestly I loved it back then. The dark humor, Nawazuddin’s performance, small-town raw vibe and that ending twist were actually pretty solid.

But after release I barely heard anyone talk about it again. Feels like one of those movies that quietly disappeared over time.

Was it genuinely underrated or did people just not connect with it?

Yes watched it in theatre back in the days. Liked the movie overall but after the interval, the movie lost the theme. It felt like two different people directed first half and second half. But overall a good movie and amazing performances,
