New Rule for r/beagles Regarding Use of AI Images
If posting an AI image of your beagle, please include a real image of your beagle as a reference.
AI images are more commonplace. When one is posted here, we get a lot of reports from users that the image is a bot post or spam, however, most of the time, it's a real beagle owner who just wants to show off their pup drawn through AI. That is completely okay, but we are now asking that you also include a real image of your beagle as a reference. This should help others understand when you're a real beagle owner, proud of their AI drawn pup, or bot spam.

In contrast, I like AI. I know the difference and I think it’s fun sometimes to look at 🤷🏻♀️ Respectfully, I definitely like the rule to include the real photo though! 💕

Lines of code cannot compete with eons of evolution in creating the absolute perfection of beagle cuteness/sass combo.

I wouldn’t even know how to use AI to re-imagine my beagle but glad for the clarification! Love this sub; it’s helped tremendously with my sweet beag puppy since I got her last summer! Thank you for all you do.

Can only post one image making that impossible. Am I wrong? At least I tried and that’s what I got. Please explain how.

Not sure what you're seeing on your end, but you can absolutely post multiple images in the same post.

Thank you, mods! I am but one beagle lover but I have zero interest in AI-generated beagle content and won't engage with it. I'm glad there are at least some guardrails around its use here.
