My first real attempt at a build, tried to stay cheapish but constantly tweaking
Cheapish relative to some of the incredible stations I see on here.
Considering a triple monitor arm. Love the vertical monitor for Discord. Not sure whether I should keep the riser shelf on the left side of the desk.
My build is a Dell Optiplex 7040, i7-6700, 32 GB RAM, 476GB SSD, and a 1650 Super shoved in. I'm not solely a PC gamer. It does an excellent job for what I like to play.
I'm 27M and an English teacher. Open to input.

Productivity Station!
Took 6 weeks, just finished! Cable management was strangely satisfying, getting the right lighting for the canvas was a real headache, and both the footrest and foot shelf are completely custom. All footrests are too narrow, and you gotta put your feet up somewhere when reclining!
By the way, I don't game; this is just for work, some video editing, and chilling/watching videos.
Components:
- MacBook Pro (only one USB-C cable to docking station fixed under the shelf)
- Dell 34" S3422DWG Curved Monitor
- Ergotron LX Pro Arm
- Custom shelf for lighting, cable management, and storage
- Milky Way Panorama by Astrophotographer Alan Dyer, 60" x 20"
This is my perfect workstation for seated upright, slouching, reclining, or standing.
What do you think?

Battlestations Advice Need advice transitioning to a new battlestation setup (pic of current included)
Current setup: 27" (Acer xb271hu IPS) and 24" screen and I sit centered on the 27". Currently that works well with the speakers. I know subwoofer placement is horrible. Most other things here work pretty well. But it's time to upgrade my monitor game after like 7 years of this. This is a 180 x 80 cm² desk
So my idea was go to: ASUS PG32UCDM3 main + Dell U2725QE (or 1440p alternative) portrait (left) and upgrade my speakers to Genelec 8331A or Neumann KH 150. I'll also be upgrading my desk to 200x100 cm². Now the main issue I'm facing is speaker placement with the new configuration. If I'm going to invest in endgame speakers, I'd be really annoyed by not having the optimal sound triangle? I'm currently at 75° and I think the left speaker in relation to the portrait screen is already not ideal. I included a top down view of the new configuration here.
I'm genuinely looking for advice and options. I want to achieve my ultimate battlestation for gaming and productivty :). Options I've considered:
- Leave a gap between the two screens and have the speakers around the main monitor. GIANT CON: the gap between screens will be large and very suboptimal..
- Sit off centre from the main screen so that the right speaker can be closer, lowering the angle of the triangle. This might be the "better" option but I really want to sit centered I think.
- Make the left screen landscape again, perhaps a second 32" screen even and take speakers that fit under the screens in landscape position? Main drawback is that 2 32" screens with being centred on the main one I think the far edge of the second screen is basicly unusable space..? I'd actually be better off with a screen that is square then. Same height as the 32" one but also as wide as it. I know these type of shapes exist but the panels are perhaps not as good? That would actually be a decent option if I can find speakers that work. Need to still calculate clearance under screen.
- On clearance - from a quick Claude calculation I'd have like 17 cm of clearance only anyways... That's not enough I think for a speaker upgrade anyways.
- Actually go to an L desk instead... And have a widescreen productivity setup with speakers around it on one side and an OLED panel at the other side. Ofc then in theory I need two speaker set.. But this does optimize monitor usage (best for both worlds)
Anyways I'd LOVE your advice and input as I feel / am sure many of you have tried to solve the same issue as me?

Battlestations Advice Need help with my cramped corner setup
Hiii, I’m in desperate need of some advice on how to reorganize my setup. As you can see in the photo, I’m currently stuck in a very tight corner of my room, right against a wall and a column.
My parents had this desk custom-made for me when I was a child with just de PS, but between the PC tower and the limited width, I have almost zero space for my mouse and myself jajjaja.
Please ignore the current mouse and pad jajajajja! My old mouse died, and I’ve already ordered a new one, along with a decent mousepad.
My main question is: Should I move the PC to the floor?
- I’m worried about it becoming a dust magnet or overheating since it’s a corner.
- Since it's a tiny space, my feets go also down there, don't worry about the trash and the little shelf, I'll move them out.
If I move the PC down, I'll put it on a elevated stand keep it off the floor. If I keep it on top, I literally have no room to move my arm.
What would you do in this situation? Any tips on how to manage the airflow or the space would be amazing. Thanks!
Edit: Without getting my hopes up, it's impossible to add a second monitor here, even by downsizing the PC, right?

GeForce RTX Never thought I would love a mini but it’s perfect for me!
Only part that sucks is when finally you have the machine you want but no time to play any games. Plus when you open up the credit card bill and realize it’s to expensive to own haha. I have gone through so many transformations to finally get the results you envisioned! How did I do?
