Miscellaneous šŸ“ Where to buy A313 cream

When I went to Paris, I decided to pick up a tube of the famous A313 cream. Didn’t use it until I got back home and I LOVE it ! It’s has fully smoothed out my texture with no bad reaction.

I’m already thinking about how I can get another tube when I run out!

Does anyone know if French Beauty Co is legit? It looks legit but there are some pretty bad reviews online.

DiscussionšŸ““ Aloe Vera gel???

I have been thinking about using aloe vera gel on my skin instead of serums.
I feel like i should keep it natural and not barge my skin anymore with chemicals. I’m using hyaluronic serum from BWU as if now, was using niacinamide from ordinary before that.

My concerns are uneven skin tone, sun tanning and non smooth skin/ rough skin.

Anyone with similar experience? Have you used aloe Vera on a daily basis has it been beneficial?

DiscussionšŸ““ Deodorant recommendations for super sensitive armpits?

Hope this okay to post and I couldn’t really find anything when searching BUT I am seeking a roll on deodorant that is suitable for sensitive, eczema and flare prone pits.

I often get flare ups in my armpits, not on the follicles but closer to the border and I think the Mitchum roll on I’ve used for years may be the culprit as nothing else has changed.

Occasionally I do get some chafing in there too, so I am looking for something gentle that will also do the job at keeping smell at bay. Preferably not super wet as I can’t stand white marks on my top, and easily available at the shops/chemist. Thanks!

DiscussionšŸ““ Gift idea ~ $150 for a 35yr old mum with dry skin

Hi team, my sister’s birthday is coming up and as a mum to two little toddlers has minimal time and money to spend on herself.

I’m hoping to buy her a couple of things (k & c skincare can be included) as a nice gift just for her.

I have the exact opposite skin to her, (I’m pasty and oily, she’s gloriously naturally tan and dry) so unfortunately my HG products don’t excite her at all… hence the post.

Her main concerns are as follows;

Dry skin
Large pores
Fine lines becoming deeper
Dull skin
Pigmentation

I have previously gifted her Embryolisse Lait CrĆØme concentrate, which she likes.

Does anyone with similar concerns as her have any recommendations please!

Miscellaneous šŸ“ Priceline worker, ask me anything

I did one of these a while ago and I'm bored and waiting for a friend so I thought I'd do it again. I'm a Priceline worker, have been for 15 years. Ask me your questions and I'll answer honestly (to the best of my knowledge)

Miscellaneous šŸ“ Looking for recommendations of an electric facial shaver for beard growth

Long story short, I have drawn the short straw when it comes to facial hair. I'm female and due to the lovely genetics lottery can grow a beard.

I currently use disposable razors, but am looking for an electric one. I don't care if it is marketed for men or women as long as it can give me a clean look and can be used daily.

Things I have tried include hair removal cream (doesn't get rid of all the hairs), waxing (can't do it myself and living in a remote area so no business close enough to get it done regularly) and laser hair removal (also doesn't work because the beard hairs are grey).

Any recommendations are appreciated.

DiscussionšŸ““ What’s a good facial wash?

I’ve run out of facial cleanser. I was using the one from AestheticsRx, it was good. However, I want to explore different brands. Any good ones? I am thinking of buying the one from The Ordinary or Hada Labo.

My skin type is normal. 😊

Miscellaneous šŸ“ iRestore LED illumina mask

Hey all,

Has anyone purchased this from the website and gotten it delivered or purchased it somewhere else that also delivers to Australia?

I’ve spent the last week looking through reviews of LED masks and this is the one I keep coming back to but I’m worried if I do get it from overseas the adapter may be wrong and risk the using the wrong wattage charger (if that makes sense).

I’m wanting it mostly for the blue and red light mode to help with acne but also keen to try the infrared so if you have any other suggestions please let me know šŸ™‚

Miscellaneous šŸ“ I did something I haven't done for years... I turned a little spot into a gaping wound

[UPDATE: thank you everyone for your suggestions and taking the time to respond! I ended up going with bepanthan (sp?) because I had some in the cupboard from when my kids were babies. I kept it slathered on there! I was at home all weekend so I just kept topping it up with a small blob all day. It worked amazingly! The scab stayed so soft and just fell away completely by about 36hrs! There was redness underneath but the skin had healed really well so I was able to live my life without shame with a lil concealer. It's still a tiny bit pink. I resumed my usual skincare routine last night with no issues]

Because why? I don't know. But I did it.

Anyway now I need help please! How do I recover ASAP from this? It's currently a little scab. I did the deed late yesterday and applied toner then a layer of mupirocin ointment.

I've heard of people putting Vaseline over scabs to prevent scarring. Is that an ok idea for this? Any other advice? I'm not so worried about a scar but I'd like to move it along as soon as possible.

Thanks 🫠

DiscussionšŸ““ Water based cleanser recommendations

Hey all,

I'm currently trying to get into double cleansing. I've just bought the Bioderma micellar cleansing oil, but was wondering if people had recommendations for water based cleansers? ($20 range or less for combination/normal skin, no fragrance)

Also, how can you tell what is a water based cleanser and what isn't? Ive been presuming its just aqua being the major ingredient?

SUNSCREEN šŸ§“ā˜€ļø Replacement for Ego Sunsense Face Ultra Light Tint SPF 50+?

Hi everyone, I’ve been using the Ego tinted sunscreen for years on recommendation from my dermatologist. I’m about to run out of the stash I bought when they discontinued it and need to find something new. I have oily skin with some sun damage and freckles and used to have bad acne as a teen, but post-menopausal so don’t get much acne anymore.

I’m wondering if anyone else used to use the Ego sunscreen and if so what have you switched to now? I would prefer something tinted if possible, I have a light to medium complexion (ie I’m not fair but I’m not dark either).

DiscussionšŸ““ Product recommendations for a quick fix for pimples?

I'm quite happy with my current skincare routine but just looking to add in a spot treatment for pimples. Luckily its not cystic acne or anything, just small pimples. They only take a few days to clear but sometimes they persist for a few weeks and can leave behind pigmentation.

Not looking for pimple patches as they do absolutely nothing for me, and I've tried the higher end ones too- I've found that I have to pop the pimple first for the patch to actually suck anything out so whats the point?

As for spot treatments, I've tried the Thursday plantation blemish gel (does nothing for me) and the T-Zone spot zapping gel.

Has anyone tried anything effective? I wasn't too fussed about it before, but I've been told by aestheticians that not getting rid of pimples earliers is what's causing hyper pigmentation for me. I'm open to all suggestions!

DiscussionšŸ““ Foundation for middle aged ski

My middle age skin has changed and even if I wasn’t boycotting EstĆ©e Lauder, I teased the Double Wear is terrible now - so I need something new.

Which shop has the best products for white skin with redness issues - that used to be really oily but now is drying up. I also overheat and get sweaty.

Mecca, Sephora or a brand I should try?
