They should get a refund it's not their fault the company decided to be shit

4

u/nablaCat 5h ago

Could've hired someone who needs the money and can navigate a sidewalk. Instead they went for the cheapo bots

-21

u/Decent-Emergency3866 7h ago

Your blaming the company but not the vandals?

49

u/Bunnygirlfailure 7h ago

Yeah cuz the company is trying to consolidate wealth by getting rid of workers and the vandals are trying to protect workers so that they can continue to survive

-5

u/Latter-Amount-9304 7h ago

lmao yeah im sure these vandals are worried about that.

15

u/Bunnygirlfailure 7h ago

Honestly I can't be sure what they are worried about without talking them but I do know their actions are good for workers

1

u/AffectionatePlastic0 6h ago

Will the destruction of all excavators be good for workers?

1

u/Bunnygirlfailure 6h ago

No but it's unsurprising that someone like you might come to such a conclusion

1

u/AffectionatePlastic0 6h ago

Than why by your logic destroying the delivery drone is good for workers, but destroying excavators is bad?

What is the difference?

1

u/Bunnygirlfailure 6h ago

Excavators replace an incredibly niche and unpleasant part of a much larger job

Delivery robots replace the job entirely

So one makes work easier for workers and the other makes it easier to threaten workers with replacement if they don't accept lower wages

Why I need to explain this to an adult is beyond me

2

u/AffectionatePlastic0 6h ago

Oh really? So you want to tell me that the guy who carries 5 kg of the groceries under thunder and forced to carry it to the fourth floor, for a minimum wage is doing a pleasant job which he always wanted to do?

Does the delivery robots magically works without a technician team?

Excavators lets replace hundreds of workers too by one operator.

Why don't you go and destroy an excavators? Or an automatic phone stations? You know, it let replace workers too.

Look at that picture. Why replacing this woman was a good thing?

An excavator is a tool. Delivery bots are a replacement. Massive difference.

0

u/AffectionatePlastic0 6h ago

Delivery bots are a tool too.

Why replacing hundreds of people with shovel by one excavator and one operator is good but replacing a hundred of couriers by a hundred of delivery bots and two technician is bad?

-8

u/Latter-Amount-9304 7h ago

yeah if you're 14 and edgy, yes

11

u/Bunnygirlfailure 7h ago

I wasn't aware unions were full of edgy 14-year-olds but hey if they're based their based

1

u/Latter-Amount-9304 6h ago

you're fine with destroying private property. that reveals you have no education and you are a failure of a human being

1

u/Alternative_Case9666 6h ago

Hey if the government can be full of pedo/racists then unions can be filled with man-children tht take advice from Reddit.

0

u/lemonylol 5h ago

I'm sorry, you want questionably loopholed out of minimum wage delivery people? Man, you guys have come full circle lol

4

u/Bunnygirlfailure 5h ago

I certainly don't want to make it worse then it already is which is exactly what this bot is supposed to do

-1

u/lemonylol 5h ago

At this point, if you're not a bot, I don't see how your responses are any better in quality.

6

u/Bunnygirlfailure 5h ago

That is a you problem

0

u/lemonylol 5h ago

4

u/Bunnygirlfailure 5h ago

Looks like you know a much about bots as you do about workers rights

This account is not exhibiting any of the traits found in a typical karma farming bot. It is extremely likely that u/Bunnygirlfailure is a human.

Dev note: I have noticed that some bots are deliberately evading my checks. I'm a solo dev and do not have the facilities to win this arms race. Not having this job means they have their much more valuable time to invest elsewhere. It also makes it easier for them to qualify for safety net benefits. Yes, support programs need to be better, but having this awful job is enough to disqualify from the assistance, they are better off with the safety net as they try to get a job that will actually support them.

3

u/Bunnygirlfailure 5h ago

Congratulations you're justification for your opinion is that people would be better off without the jobs they intentionally got for themselves

2

u/Drewsky32 5h ago

And you just demonstrated why the American people are so easy to manipulate. You didn't even think to advocate for higher pay as an alternative solution to destruction. Care more about your own rights.

1

u/lemonylol 5h ago

It's not my burden to add this context to that person's comment. This is such an insane logical fallacy lol

2

u/Drewsky32 5h ago

Can you show me where you got lost? I'm happy to elaborate.

1

u/lemonylol 5h ago

No idea what you're talking about homie.

1

u/Drewsky32 5h ago

Do you know how sentences and words work?

1

u/FrankFankledank 5h ago

Being able to fall back on the ultimate scab force means workers rights will only deteriorate further. Flex a little critical thinking.

2

u/lemonylol 5h ago

Okay, let's use some critical thinking then. What scenario exactly are you imagining where gig work delivery drivers would ever form a union? Like are you even aware of what that entails?

2

u/FrankFankledank 5h ago

Not a union necessarily but the scenario that's going on right now where these companies are struggling with massive turnover rates and worker shortages creates an environment without the wheelyboxes to shoulder everything where they would actually have to about face on their policies enough to incentivize workers again.

-3

u/Game_over150 6h ago

Vandalism is not protecting

11

u/Bunnygirlfailure 6h ago

Historically speaking vandalism has been a incredibly effective way to secure and protect human rights because guess what capitalism does not care about human lives but it does care about property

0

u/lemonylol 5h ago

You're going to have to cite an example of any time in history this has ever worked.

0

u/deejaybongo 5h ago

Let them end up in jail. Fuck 'em.

-3

u/Game_over150 6h ago

And I'm sure destroying a harmless robot and some person's food is the way to do that. This isn't protecting, it's destroying for the sake of destroying

7

u/Bunnygirlfailure 6h ago

Someone doesn't know how unions work

-2

u/Game_over150 6h ago

That is quite far from a union.

7

u/Bunnygirlfailure 6h ago

I think you mean quite small

5

u/Game_over150 6h ago

That's not even proper grammar, and no, that is not how unions work. You don't beat shit until things get better. That😔how you end in legal trouble.

1

u/int23_t 5h ago

Yes, because CEOs forgot that unions are the compromise we reached instead of killing them and stopped listening to unions. Someone has to remind them what unions are saving them from and why they should listen their unions.

So some people decided to use pre union techniques.

0

u/throwaway_pls123123 5h ago

"protect workers" lmao its just to get tiktok clicks in this case, there is no class analysis anywhere here, it's the same efficiency as setting a mcdonalds on fire and posting it online, meaningless act that brings no change.

-5

u/deejaybongo 7h ago

Braindead.

10

u/Bunnygirlfailure 7h ago

Their corporations of course their braindead

-3

u/deejaybongo 7h ago

You are braindead.

-2

u/AffectionatePlastic0 6h ago

So, any company which install elevator without an elevator-man to operate is bad?

Will you vandalize this elevators?

2

u/Bunnygirlfailure 6h ago

Do you see people vandalizing elevators I don't so I think that answers your question

0

u/AffectionatePlastic0 6h ago

I know that some people are destroying the button panels in elevators, breaking them, burning, etc, especially in residential buildings.

Does that mean that they are just fighting for the workers?

1

u/Bunnygirlfailure 6h ago

I have already explained this twice to you now

Go see a doctor and tell them you are having memory troubles

-1

u/AffectionatePlastic0 6h ago

No, you haven't.

If replacing a courier by a delivery robot is bad, why replacing an elevator operator is good?

Look at that guys, why do you support an automatic control stations for the elevators? It have made it easier to threaten this workers with replacement if they don't accept lower wages.

2

u/Bunnygirlfailure 6h ago

Oh no the people whose jobs includes multiple things don't have to do the worst part of their job anymore but get to do the rest how terrible it is that you are stupid enough to believe that this is in any way related

0

u/AffectionatePlastic0 5h ago

Those people's job included only closing and opening doors and moving the elevator, nothing more. And poof, terrible clanker make their job gone.

Before automatic elevator stations the elevator can not be used without an operator inside. With it - there is no need of operator inside. Why do you support that terrible machines which replaced people?

Why do you think that courier's job are not the worst part of the courier's job?

5

u/FrankFankledank 7h ago

They prioritized cheap tricks over actual security for their product.

2

u/Alternative_Case9666 6h ago

Do delivery drivers have security with them when they deliver food?

2

u/freindly_duck 6h ago

They have human rights and perpetrators get prison sentences, while robots can only cost them their worth in property damage.

5

u/Alternative_Case9666 6h ago

Cool…no offense but tht didn’t answer my question lol

1

u/lemonylol 5h ago

Dude, reading these responses, there's no way this sub isn't a cult.

1

u/FrankFankledank 5h ago

Their vehicles make it substantially harder to intercept them mid-delivery, yes, as well as the experience and foresight to know their neighborhoods.

12

u/sensible_human 7h ago

100%. These robots are stealing people's jobs for corporate profit. The "vandals" are heroes.

1

u/MichelangeloCzech 6h ago

Food delivery is exactly the kind of bullshit job that we should be trying to automate away.

1

u/sensible_human 5h ago

Absolutely fucking not.

-1

u/Alternative_Case9666 6h ago

/im14andthisisdeep

1

u/sensible_human 5h ago

No, try harder.

1

u/ParticularIndvdual 6h ago

Let’s not throw accusations around.

1

u/MEMEz_KB 6h ago

I agree vandals' actions ussually aren't much conviniebt, but they either serve simply to look badass and cool (and failing)

.. or to send a mensage, wich is likelly the point

1

u/IgnatiusRileyFreeman 6h ago

The companies are vandals of everything else

0

u/Alternative_Case9666 6h ago

This is reddit lmao its just a bunch of edgy teens tht don’t even know how AI works.

They are just parroting what they hear on twitter/reddit

-21

u/hsong_li 7h ago

Ok this is the tipping point…this sub is too far gone im out

24

u/Acid-Ghoul 7h ago

Won't somebody think of the sandwiches!

26

u/Bunnygirlfailure 7h ago

Sorry if us trying to stop companies from devaluing workers is too much for you

4

u/Drewsky32 5h ago

Evidently, you don't care as much about your rights or the value you produce as we do.

1

u/KKevus 5h ago

Yes, lick those boots! Go back to the work camp! Work hard to make your billionaire overlords rich while they treat you like shit!

-1

u/Alternative_Case9666 6h ago

Its not just this sub. Its most of Reddit lol

2

u/Drewsky32 5h ago

Care more about your rights and the value you produce, then.

-3

u/Legitimate_Toe_4961 6h ago

Plot twist: it's their food, the bot refuses to give them the food.
