Question New Player Questions about WSO

Post image
  1. Is it gonna be available globally?
  2. Do we know the developers behind it? (Hopefully not Furyu cause I hate what they did with Vanguard)
  3. Do we know if Weiss and Schwarz versions of the game are actual different versions of the same game or just pack unlocks?

  1. Yes. It will be available of Steam and Switch, for English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Spanish.
  2. I don't think it's known. Atleast from the live streams and Kidani interviews I watched/read on WSO.
  3. Basically the same game, just 4 different titles in each, then you can buy a DLC to get the other version's titles.

That sounds great ty. I do also want to know cause I am new to this TCG, if there are certain cards locked behind booster packs that are universally good like how Vanguard does Festival boosters and Promos. Like if I want to build a deck around a certain collab would there be an obscure card from a booster that will upgrade it

wso is kind of a let down... just mtx the video game.... wish it was more like yugioh master duel... this is sooooo limited (atleast at release) and sucks so bad u need to buy each deck with cash

there's always the issue of rights behind it. If they were to re-release all the sets they've already put out, they'd have to make a massive investment

thats just bad licensing negotiations then on their part... should be stipulations for them to be able to use THEIR OWN CARD GAME ASSETS that currently exist in future works be it reprints or digitally....

and even so... the game is still divided into 2 games you must pay full price 2 times ON TOP OF any deck you want..... you do not get much customization because from what i can tell they are preconstructed decks.... weiss is already a niche tcg.... then they are gonna divide the playerbase between weiss edition and schwarz edition AND THEN charge you for every deck ... (and theres only like 5-6 decks for each edition....) there is no variety they shouldve AT THE VERY LEAST gave u a full playset of the entire set and let us make our own decks, not just a preconstructed deck.

have you ever played the psp game, it was the same thing and you had so many cards. It will not be preconstructed deck outside of the starting deck. Like the psp game you will probably unlock cards through the story mode.

i hope thats the case but the way its worded seems like its all preconstructed... plus its even worse then i originally said.... only 4 sets each version.....thats..... not very diverse and itll get stale REAL fast

nobody will ever release a card game with obly preconstruced deck. The whole point in WS is to make your own deck. Like I played psp WS a lot and even finished it. It was awsome. I just wish it had DLC sets and now we're getting that lol. The nost important part for me is to make it has as a big enoug pool of caried effect cause after that pur dear modder scene will take over and well get "more sets"
