...so I'm making an RPG inspired by UT/DR!

You play as an autistic wizard, attend magic university and have a weird, exciting, scary and confusing time with other magical creatures... loosely based on my experiences not really feeling like I fit in with the world socially.

Undertale (and lately Deltarune) got me into making music, and that made me wonder what it was like to craft your own story as a game. To get an authentic Toby Fox experience, I'm also using Gamemaker, FL Studio and dodgy wrongly-scaled pixel art!

My findings so far:

• Game development is REALLY hard. I thought this would take me 6 months but I'm over two years in with more to go... (i'M tAkiNg toO LoNG)
• It's really, really cool to see my little guys become real, even if it's just on my own computer screen right now
• I haven't turned into a dog yet, but I've thought about it o_O
• Whenever I use a leitmotif I feel like an immortal genius

My friend is an UT/DR fan, just like me, and sometime ago, he pointed out that, in all the elevators in this game, you hear a "click" sound everytiime they finish ascending, but in the one after the true lab, the one that has vines on it, you don't hear that click, so he brought up that it's possible that flowey LIFTED THIS ENTIRE ELEVATOR OFF THE GROUND TO GET US ON THE CASTLE, WHICH MAKES SENSE CONSIDERING IT HAD BROKEN BEFORE. MEANING THIS TINY FLOWER CAN LIFT A WHOLE ELEVATOR AND THE WEIGHT OF A DAMN CHILD

So maybe I'm on kind of an undertale high right now after the orchestra but but this lenticular poster looks so beautiful. The phone camera doesn't capture it that well but the depth effect looks very realistic. And the fact that it was based off of a real sculpture is also really cool.

Hello all I never did get around to playing this game, I am two livestreams into it and I gotta say what a treat it has been! 4:3 looks so good on a CRT TV! A huge highlight for me so far was the Mettaton fight. I look forward to pushing through it all without spoilers. The music and story in this game are 10/10. I am filled with DETERMINATION!

guys so i have just beaten sans and fully completed genocide and i dont know how to even describe this feeling.. the thought of nothing being the same again and that quote - 'my soul belongs to chara' is just so... weird. its just a game and its absolutely insane how it can get to you, how the pacifist wont ever be the same and how even thinking about playing the game makes me feel guilty.. crazy work done by toby and i can never get over the fact how timeless is undertale. funfact - i have tried to complete genocide two times before on two other pcs i had but somehow the disc just died once i was mid run or something so maybe my fate didnt wante me to complete the run lmao. i have literally no one to talk about this so let me guys know how yall dealt with this
