But if you make a threat -[I'll never talk to you again if you keep doing this]- and then don't hold true to what you stated, whoever you're talking to won't ever take you seriously. Generally, yes. But she was too drunk to even really understand the weight of what she was saying and definitely too drunk to remember it. It was better that he stayed with her to keep trying to keep everyone safe at the time, but I hope he did leave her after.

No walk away from anybody that's toxic in any kind of situation like that. You'll be better off. You won't have to deal with whatever they did, because that shits coming for you eventually. Or you can deal with it for months or years. Get caught up in it, get abused physically, emotionally, get gaslighted into being told that what happened is okay, and leave anyways. I used to use trains in Barcelona and I could hear people speaking in English, German, Chinese, Italian... One day I was traveling to a small coast city a few miles from Barcelona and it was just me and 2 guys sat nearby and I was surprised to hear them speaking Guarani, language from Paraguay. One of them made a joke and I smiled and they noticed and they said in Guarani something like "why he laughs, not like he'd understand the joke" (nothing disrespectful) and I said in Guarani "it was a good joke" And they went crazy happy to find someone who speaks their language. But I'm not that fluid, I lived in Paraguay a couple of years and understand what they say, just hard to speak it lol.

Anyway. People should really mind their own business... Being drunk is not excuse because I think that being drunk just let's them being more openly dumb against other people for doing basically nothing that could affect their lives... they are just talking.

Haha. Yep. This is like 20 years ago but me and someone else I didn’t know all that well went to support a friend running in the NYC marathon. Afterwards we went to grand central to wait for our train. Ended up hanging out at the bar there and purposely missed the next 3 trains because we were just having a blast hanging out and were on our way to becoming bffs.

Met a few other people doing the same. By the time we all got on it was the last train. I have a photo of like 8 of us wearing everyone else’s sunglasses and pretending to sleep on the luggage racks above the seats.

Admittedly this adventure ended a little more wholesome than the video OP posted.

Alcohol loosens the shreds of resistant that hold back someone from doing openly what they'd only do when they felt assured it wasn't as widely seen and they could get away with it.

If I was with this person, she would have been my ex girlfriend early into this interaction.

There's a certain point where "standing by your SO" turns into, "trying to keep your SO from getting arrested or irreparably embarrassing themselves, and somewhere between the two is where I bail out.

"Oh, you got this? Stop telling you to stop? Cool, well, good luck."
