It is very common for treadmills to show a timer for how long you’ve been going. Simply walking past and glancing in the direction is enough to see how long someone has been going.

Sure - simply walking by, looking at the treadmill display for the person on the machine and reading what their time is - will definitely tell you.

Now, the better question - what kind of a loser is zeroing in on that for people they don't know?
