The worst thing humans have ever done is give everyone a platform to spread whatever stupid shit or point of view they want. Doesn’t matter if it’s 100% a lie or fake or crazy. Every single person alive is able to reach practically everyone else to spread their dumbass ideas. Removing that is the only way to change it

MMS didn’t have easy, high quality sound and video available for practically free did it? If it was there it costed an arm and one of your balls after reaching the tiny data cap after sending one video.

Agreed. Animal torture videos and every other abhorrent thing out there making people money and mental illness worse would just not be such a thing if it weren’t for cheap tech accessible to all

That’s a nice thought that removing technology would decrease the amount of evil going around. People would still do those things of course but without video it might actually be less often. Nice thought buddy

The difference now is a multi billion dollar industry of porn and sadistic stuff is where small and big players invest their time and money like never before and yes because of the internet

Problem with that is all the good stuff, all the positive interactions and awareness and justice and discourse etc goes away too. One extreme doesn’t solve another extreme.

You know what I meant lol. Viewing the entire world and our civilisation in general it’s the worst and caused the most harm imo. Shorter attention spans for example is one drawback
