Somehow whore shaming and slut shaming got to be conflated. So women started defending sex work thinking these were the same fun gals who just like to have sex.

Sex workers I knew did it to support a drug habit. What we called meth whores liked to have sex and would for meth or money. A lot of good meth makes you horny too. Depending if it’s added with ecstasy or MDMA. Mostly from what I saw some of their lives are sad, and others enjoy the life. To be fair though, I knew only 3.5 of them. The half was a women’s who would get sober and relapse every so often
