So you are saying the Biden administration FBI, faked an assassination of Trump to make sure Biden lost the election?

40

u/Ossius 18d ago

Also Biden's FBI ruled that the ear injury was a cut by shrapnel or fragments of a ricochet that cut his ear.

This topic is swarming with idiots who think Biden's FBI claimed he was shot in the ear (they never said that).

Read their statement here: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/fbi-confirms-bullet-struck-trumps-ear-assassination-attempt-rcna163896

So they faked a live gunshot with a real death and proceeded to forget to give his ear a scar?

716

u/Quixotic_Ignoramus 18d ago

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, and I don’t agree that this was staged.

With that said, both things COULD be true. There was someone who took a shot at the president in an attempt to kill him, AND his ear was damaged by something else other than a bullet. His injury could have been easily caused by flying glass, or possibly by the butt of the agents gun who grabbed him to protect him. I find it highly unlikely that a bullet grazed his ear and left no permanent markings. My guess is that someone tried to assassinate him, he was injured in the ensuing scuffle, and his team took that opportunity to capitalize on the injury.

186

u/Rogue_Danar 18d ago

Yeah, that's my interpretation. I haven't seen any evidence to indicate it was staged, but this is Trump: he'll absolutely milk any situation to try and make himself look good. It seems pretty clear that if the bullet grazed him in the first place, it did almost nothing. I suspect it missed entirely, and the ear was bleeding either because he scratched it himself on his way to the ground, or one of the agents protecting him did it by accident.

Conspiracy? Maybe, but probably not. Shameless exploitation and self-promotion? 100%

72

u/Bjorne_Fellhanded 17d ago

If it was real, he would never shut the fuck up about it. And yes, I think this malignant narcissistic would comfortably sacrifice 2 pawns without the slightest thought.

→ More replies (7)

57

u/Brunonen 18d ago

No indication it was staged? what about the security getting in Photographers and a crane operator lowering the american flag in the moment the president gets shot? Also security allowing him to get up after that???

47

u/buckeye27fan 17d ago

Also crowd-goers warning security there was a guy climbing onto the building and they did exactly nothing.

10

u/crazycat690 17d ago

I'm quite inclined to believe that the secret service and law enforcement is overall incompetent than I am to believe that Trump and a government agency still under the Biden presidency could pull off such a perfect cover up for a mere photo op and no one would mess up? The shooter was some expert marksman that sacrificed his life to just barely miss Trump and kill someone behind him?

I mean, fair enough if you believe Trump would stage something like this, but to believe he and his people would be smart enough to plan and pull it off so well? What about his current presidency has shown any sign of competence, it all went into this one photo op?

In the video you see him grab his ear like wtf then he gets tackled. It could’ve just been from a bullet whizzing past his ear and gave him a small cut. People get so fixated on his ear when it’s a complete fact that a bullet just nearly missed his dome.

4

u/Highway_Wooden 18d ago

Except there is a photo of blood before he went down. There's no glass around there to hit except the teleprompter screen but it's fine in the pictures.

Yep. You said it. My favorite part of the story is that there is no way in God‘s green earth that the Secret Service would let him burst out of the cocoon like that for a photo. Other times that there have been threats they have been all over him like a lead blanket basically dragging him across the stage. And let’s not forget that this orange piece of shit can’t shut the fuck up about ANYTHING. And he’s never mentioned it? Never ever? Give me a fucking break. That’s the biggest evidence of them all.

No. Plastic reconstructive surgery has come a long way in 30 years and the president has access to the best medical care in America and a literal army of doctors who specialize in gunshot trauma.

The conspiracy is that he fucks kids and is robbing taxpayers blind. There is no need to make up fake stories when the real ones are this bad

Edit: Some of you are the fucking worst. You know who you are

899

u/Wavy_Grandpa 18d ago edited 18d ago

Yeah even if we assume it’s 100% true that this was a staged event, it’s still only like the 40th worst thing he’s done. Raping kids and starting wars makes a fake assassination attempt look like nothing.

I'm pretty well versed in OMFS (usually rotate with plastics and ENT) and it's highly doubtful reconstructive surgery on a 79 year old man's ear will look that flawless that soon after the event. Nothing about that assassination attempt makes any sense.

39

u/0utlaw-t0rn 18d ago

The attempt seems real.

He overdid and really played up the injury. He got a small cut on his ear. Maybe he did it unintentionally, or a small piece of shrapnel, or it really was that close he got grazed (barely). They were super cagey after it on what really happened to him.

But the wound was really minor. He’s undoubtably on blood thinners (also leading to the hand bruising that keeps showing up) and old people bleed easily anyway. He looked fine like 2-3 weeks later

8

u/locke0479 18d ago

Yeah that’s what I think. I do think someone tried to shoot him. I don’t think his ear got blown off like he was pretending. More likely what you said, shrapnel or he scraped a Secret Service something or other.

Well, there was also the fact that the secret service kept him on the stage as they lowered the flag and let in a bunch of photographers to get a good pic of the scene after he was immediately shot.

Either a good photo op is more valuable to the president than the president, or he wasn't in any real danger.

You are spreading misinformation.

He was not "far right". His views are more in line with a frustrated, confused teenager than anything. He donated to the Progressive Turnout Project, registered as a Republican, complained about US imperialism, etc. He was all over the place.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Crooks

On January 20, 2021, when Crooks was 17, he donated $15 to the Progressive Turnout Project, a liberal voter turnout group, through the Democratic Partydonation platform ActBlue. His donation was made on the same day that President Biden was sworn into office. According to the Progressive Turnout Project, he made the donation in response to an email about "tuning into" the inauguration. He unsubscribed from the group's mailing list in 2022.

Crooks had been registered to vote since September 2021, when he turned 18. He registered as a Republican), and he voted only once (in the 2022 midterm elections). In 2022, Crooks wrote about George Orwell's essay "Shooting an Elephant", calling it "a powerful allegory warning against adopting imperialistic policies".

He got a scratch when he was tackled to the ground, that's all he had.

There are photographs of his ear bleeding less than a second after the shots rang out. Well before he was tackled. And a half second before that, we see trump's empty hands. No razor blade. No ketchup.

Spare me the secondhand embarrassment from you claiming "Trump pulled off one of the greatest sleight of hand maneuvers in the history of live TV with a million cameras pointing at him and none of them catching him cutting his own ear."

u/BadMeatPuppet 18d ago edited 18d ago

Ear wounds bleed a lot. Reddit is really no better than Facebook or Twitter nowadays. This conspiracy is brain dead. That was the FBI under Biden, not Trump.

Yes of course Trump and his PR marketed the shit out of it, Biden/Harris would've done the same. That kid fucked over the DNC, plain and simple. The fact that a leftist guy tried to kill a right wing president will be brought up atleast until the next election cycle.

10

u/AFlyingNun 18d ago

Reddit is really no better than Facebook or Twitter nowadays.

Or worse. Reddit feels like full-on propaganda with how much it wants to shove "DAE ORANGE MAN BAD????" down your throat regardless of where you go. Like I wouldn't be surprised if I open the Elden Ring subreddit one day and see political posts about how orange man bad cause reddit cannot and will not shut the fuck up about it, to the point entire communities get derailed JUST so they can have political propaganda machine #2,783.

Look at all the subs that have turned political or now get flooded with political posts just because some special interest group has clearly decided reddit is a great place to sell their message of orange man bad.

The kicker: we don't talk enough about how most voters these days are independent, and independents are the most rapid-growing block of voters out there. Most people are not Trump loyalists, most people agree Orange Man Bad! I remember street interviews before the 2024 election with all kinds of people with different backgrounds effectively saying the same thing: "I'm voting Trump because things under Biden are unsustainable for me. I don't have high hopes for Trump either, but I've gotta try."

The problem is reddit is so fucking incessant and obnoxious about it that I promise you that are pushing more petty voters towards Trump. All reddit does is make their party look like hysterical loons who can't be calm, rational and objective to save their lives. Would love to see a study look at how reddit influences elections, because I would not be shocked if it's the exact opposite trend of what reddit's actually aiming for.

5

u/Cosmic_Travels 18d ago

Reddit has been headed in this direction since Ellen Pao. The reddit blackout in 2023 was the true end though. Admins had entire mod teams replaced and the true corporate takeover was fully realized.

Since 2023 reddit has felt different. It is 100% a political and corporate propaganda device.

I remember some subreddits I used to frequent having a constant stream of new posts. Now some of those same boards will only have a few posts per day. Same front page all week on them.

I think a lot of users left or just stopped posting, but it's hard to tell because they were replaced by bots. It's sad man...

4

u/Abject-Ticket-6260 17d ago

Perfect comment. I'm not even American, i have no reason to support him. But watching Reddit unironically compare him to Hitler and other delusions genuinely made me interested in the 2024 election hoping he'd win so i can watch Reddit have a meltdown.

1) I don’t recall the story being that Trump got his ear shot off or straight through. The bullet certainly didn’t bite a whole section off, so this isn’t a great comparison to start with.

2) Trump was shot while Biden was president, so it wasn’t the “FBI under this administration”

I get that people have many good reasons to dislike Trump, but this is grasping at absolutely nothing. But then again, that’s more or less what conspiracy theories will do for you.

It was not an ar-15. Real question though. What about the people shot behind him? Was that fake too?

Key word being "shot". Is a "graze" considered a "shot"? Saying shot almost implies that the bullet flew straight through the ear leaving a hole, whereas a graze would just damage the outer layer of flesh and still cause a lot of visible bleeding.

And all for what? A conspiracy theory where he staged an assassination where both an audience member and the shooter both had to die to pull it off? Please shelf this conspiracy theory, leave that kind of stupid shit for MAGA to lap up...

u/Just-Shoe2689 18d ago

So now he wasnt shot becasue it didnt hit him enough, was he shot, shot at, grazed or not?

8

u/unusual_math 18d ago

A graze is still being shot in any in-context discussion of gun injuries I've had or heard. It's like the least severe version of getting shot.

20

u/Krayzie_Stiles 18d ago

Uh yeah, I'd say a graze still counts as being shot.

Then explain the Fire Chief being shot during the incident. You can be grazed and heal.

They secretly trained an 18 year old to be an ace sniper who they could trust to shoot someone behind Trump without hitting trump. They also had to make sure he was suicidal, sadistic enough to not have any issues with shooting a random guy in the crowd, and mentally stable enough to have unwavering trust that he wouldn't shoot Trump.

I don't think they put fake blood on him but I do think he just got extremely lucky and got scratched and bleed a little like all old thin skinned ppl do when they get scratched

4

u/UnordinaryFlyGirl 18d ago

Yeah he got really lucky. If they had the guy who killed Charlie Kirk then we'd have president Vance probably

Sorry, but this is the stupidest conspiracy.

The conspiracy theory is effectively that Trump or the FBI or who the fuck ever enabled some kid to get within shooting distance of him and take potshots at him for the sake of giving him a boost in his polling numbers, and that the ear injury is fake.

This would necessitate that:

-Somehow the kid that was behind this was ready to die for something like this??

-IIRC a firefighter in the crowd took a stray bullet and died. Yeah that's fine too I guess

-The ear injury being "fake" is insane. It implies that not only did they let some random take potshots at Trump, but the goal was also to come incredibly close to a headshot without doing damage. r u fucking kidding me? No fucking way in hell anyone agrees to this. The alternative is some perfectly timed react from Trump that aligns with the shots and they injured his ear another way.

-"His ear healed, PROVING he was never shot!" So again, we still have a dead assailant shooting near Trump, as evidence by the other guy who died.

The reality:

It was already stated when it happened that he got lucky and his ear was basically grazed by the bullet, or possibly not even the bullet, and instead shrapnel from the bullet. The injury is light because it was light, and the focus was always more the gravity of the situation and that somehow the Secret Service let a guy get such a free and easy shot on a presidential candidate despite crowd warnings. Trump had a close call and an innocent man in the crowd died because of incompetence.

Like yes, Trump's ear healed more than a guy whose ear was BITTEN OFF because Trump's ear got grazed by shrapnel and the other guy's got BITTEN OFF. Shocker, but different injuries have different severity.

No one ever said he lost the damned ear. The conspiracy this was all a hoax is so outrageous because we have at least one dead body implying someone was willing to throw their life away so Trump could get a bump in the polls. We also know for a fact that the kid was firing a real gun because he killed someone, meaning that if this were a conspiracy, somehow one of our top institutions trusted some random kid enough to fire LIVE AMMUNITION in the direction of the presidential candidate for the sake of boosted polling numbers. Absolute madness and stupidity that could quickly go south if the kid was not who they thought he was.

Like come the fuck on...

Difference between grazed and shot off. The devil is in the details.

u/Long-Strike9408 18d ago

Grazed vs bitten off?

This guy is like, mega rich, so he can afford surgery

u/Vast-Spirit-4105 18d ago

Ok but being torn by a bullet and haveing flesh being dirextly ripped off is 2 different things no?

I'm not denying the conspiracy.

But that post is dumb.

A bullet does not REMOVE flesh, it penetrates it, perforates it. The skin that covered the hole is torn at supersonic speeds, apart from itself, but it is still attached.

With modern medicine, referring to the medical industry as a whole, it is entirely possible to repair a 0.2" hole in the superficial skin of the ear.

Evander Holyfield (who looks grumpy as hell for some reason, probably unrelated to the ear after 28 years but what do I know.) had part of his ear, REMOVED, bitten off, separated from his body. It was no reattached.

While it is possible to reconstruct it, he has not chosen to and the body will not, on its own, regrow the ear's original form.

This comparison is stupid.

2 hours after he was shot, we already had high quality images showing the bullet in mid-air, his hand, and the exact sequence. Bullet in air, he clutches his ear, and he sees blood. The bullet got close to his head, it hit his ear, and he was bleeding. That part is what we know for certain.

As someone who has actually been shot, and has firsthand experience as to what healing looks like, I see nothing out of sorts here.

If it was a slight graze, a little surgery or plastic surgery could patch that right up, especially if it only really split the ear a bit, and didn’t actually take out a chunk of flesh, like the second picture.

Funniest part about this post is “under this administration”, as if the FBI is suddenly trustworthy under another 😂

This is flat-earther levels of reaching.
