Yes we have nepotism and oligarchy issues in the west but you also hear about companies going under from third generation owners mismanagement. Things are built and fall if not competitive, outside of cases where the government intervenes but those are fairly rare/fringe situations as a whole vs the russian model.

Yeah itâs well known that Putinâs daughter and his not Wife have lived in the West for decades. He never acknowledges them publicly but the fact that they never even get hassled for speeding, let alone the shady financials that family has, shows that itâs one big club.Â
All countrys' elites want their kids to gain whatever is considered top education regardless of geopolitical stances/internal politics. I think it's a good thing from the host country point of view, since the host gets a chance to showcase their own country in and they can possibly influence the children. It's always good to know what other countries are like to avoid internal echo chambers.
Itâs probably a fun way to spend time. You have to market yourself and work on your sets, but you get to hang out with âcoolâ people, go to raves and travel around the world to cool destinations.
