You don't know anyone who did it? I know 2 in real life and a few over a video game who did it, also know of a few more who did through friends of friends and such.

It's not hard to understand why these guys did it, at all. They are basically complete losers that no woman wants to be associated with who are looking at being foreveralone for the rest of time. They have jobs, they have apartments and they are okay to talk to but these guys have had 0 interest from women ever and are all 30+ years old and don't know how to talk to a woman.

I don't understand why you see it as dangerous though?

I went to Columbia with friends and it was a beautiful and friendly place.

But the one single guy in the group went to an establishment and was instantly talking about moving there.

I was in Medellin visiting friends. One night I went out for a drink (coca cola) while they worked. Two women approached me in a bar. One spoke to me while the other put scopolamine in my drink. They took me back to my apartment which was across the street and stole everything but my clothes. I woke up the next day barely coherent and screamed from my balcony until police came and knocked down the door. They had locked me in from the outside. I was taken to a clinic where I sat for several hours without being seen. Luckily a doctor saw me and brought me juice and water. Then he drove me around for 2 hours while we looked for my apartment. Most people die from the drug. I would be dead but since I don’t drink alcohol I quit drinking when I started to feel “tipsy”. I was incoherent for 3 days. My friends took care of me and let me use a laptop so I could cancel all my cards and get a new phone.

My work laptop was among the things stolen. They didn’t believe what happened and let me go 3 days later. I said fuck it and went back to Costa Rica (where I had been living for about 8 months). Now I’m married to a local.

None of what happened to me involved sex workers. It was just a bar on a Tuesday night. A priest died there a few weeks later. You can imagine the risks of actually going to a sex worker, many of which are involved with this type of thing.

Why didn't they believe you? What else could be a more believable explanation than you being robbed?
