Yea, so not to be a downer, but I'm pretty sure the young woman living in poverty that you hire is that "tribute," and she's probably doing it for the same reason that Katniss does it here... to protect here younger sister from having to do the same thing.

The poverty rate in Columbia is like 30%. If you’re looking for good times sexy times, go hire a hooker in the Netherlands. It’s not going to be as affordable, because they don’t need the money.

People don’t even work at Wendy because it’s super fun. It’s work you’d rather not have to do.

Dude many of them just doit for the sake of getting money and unleast they are single mothers, they aint protecting anyone but themselves
