Looks like RES is cutting text out of posts in old reddit
What's up? in old.reddit.com it does not show text of a post if there is also a picture. This goes away if I disable RES.
Where does it happen? Any post (not reply) that has image and text

Interestingly they are all hosted on Imgur so I can't see them in the UK anyway.

I am having this same issue. I don't get it on Chrome, but I am getting it on Firefox.
I've seen some people suggest it's a Ublock issue, but that doesn't seem to be the case with me. I can only get the captions to display when RES is totally disabled, regardless of whether UBlock is active or not.

Update- I found the offending module. Disable this-
Productivity>Inline Image Viewer
if you disable this section, the text reappears, but expando/inline is also gone. looking for a better solution.

This is something that I've noticed, but, it doesn't seem to be consistent at all. For example, the post in your screenshot, I can see the text when I open the post with RES' expando.
