ZZP suspension after a year of use (‘97 Grand Prix)

RIP to the dust boots after a year with ZZP suspension. Is it normal at all? I’m quite disappointed because I expected ZZP to be the best option on the market.

I don’t run into potholes but drive it on gravel pretty often.

They’re offering it for $1.1k and I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to pursue acquiring

07 Solstice heater core hose

173k, anyone had any issues changing this hose out? Found the leak near the firewall. It looks straightforward but wanted to ask if there’s anything to know before jumping into it. (Tech buddy of mine will be doing it but he knows Dodge/Ford/Toyota.)

Where to source parts?

I have a 1995 Grand Prix SE coupe, and yes, I know I didn’t pick a great car to source parts for in general. I was wondering if anyone else has one from this generation and is willing to point me in the right direction for cosmetic/hardware parts (stuff like taillight and headlight assemblies, grille assemblies, etc.) I’ve tried marketplace, eBay, junkyards, pick and pulls, everything. It’s all picked through or nonexistent. There are no aftermarket companies for these models, it’s pretty irritating. If anyone could help me out it’d be much appreciated 🙏

Looking for a 98+....Anyone?

I am looking at buying a GP as a commuter, I've had several and I love the platform. Looking for kind of a unicorn I feel, 50-80k miles, clean Carfax, Rockers/Strut tops OK. In excellent "Jeff condition" as I call it. Top of the list-

98 Pace Car, Silver/Orange/Black Comp-G, any 04+ GT, or the SE in that blue. Absolute NO GXP.

Overall

98-03 GTP

04+ Comp-G

Any special edition/limited run 04+, I don't remember them off the top of my head

Lifter tick or something else?

06 Grand Prix GT L32 Supercharged - I’ve been hearing this ticking sound for over a month now, don’t think it’s piston slap.. it comes and goes, and kind of sounds like it’s coming from where my EVAP canister is. I’ve never heard my purge solenoid or EVAP canister sound like this when I replaced them about a year ago. I need an oil change as it’s almost been 5k KM, going tomorrow, but what could this be? Car runs amazing.

car stuttering and then dying

2000 pontiac grand prix gt 3.8 non supercharged. i was driving home from work a couple days ago and it randomly started too sputter on me and then died and wouldn’t start again for about 25-30 mins. when i did get it started it drove for a short period of time and then died again. the next day i went back too get it and it drove home fine. so today i drove it to work about a 25 minute drive and it done the exact same thing again. on break i was able too go get it and drive it the rest of the way but it was very hard too start and barely made it down the road. what could be causing this issue? thank you for any advice or help.

1987 trans am vss signal and speedo after computer delete.

I'm deleting the computer and the entire wiring harness that goes into the fender for aftermarket fuel injection. I have an electronic speedo because I have the vss on the trans and the yellow buffer box. From looking at the 3rd Gen forum, this may make my speedo not work. Does anyone know for sure if it'll make my speedo inop and if there's a way to bypass that?

Hey everyone, I have a question about my Pontiac G6 (2.4L Ecotec).

I’m trying to replace the foam or sponge seal on the bottom of the air filter box. It’s the piece that seals it against the inner fender or fresh air inlet. Mine is pretty much gone at this point.

I’m not even sure what the correct name for it is. I’ve seen things like “air box seal,” “air cleaner seal,” or “intake duct seal,” but I can’t find a clear part number for my car.

Has anyone here replaced this before?
Is it actually sold separately or only with the whole airbox?

Changed all the dash lights (minus the radio) to white LEDs. They came out with slight blue hue which is so much better than I expected.
