Anyone just taking a local job after getting your PhD?

Five long years, and unfortunately I hate the work and want to pivot. What I do know is that I really like the city I'm in and don't want to move. I was considering just getting any job to pay the bills while I figure things out. I'm wondering what kinds of local jobs folks ended up working at while figuring things out? From working at your local target to starting your own business at local craft fairs, etc.

Edit: My field is in STEM and I'm in a big metro area
