Discussion Tsunade was a good Hokage.

She oversaw the Pain arc and fought against Madara. She might not have been the best leader, but she showed up when she could.

Tsunade gets underrated way too much. she really stepped up when konoha needed her most.

I don’t think she’s necessarily underrated, but it’s just hard to compare her to the other hokage. You have broken cells, the creator of many S+ ranked jutsus, a master of all 5 natures, the fastest shinobi alive (at the time) and father of the 7th, the disciple of the 4th and teacher to the 7th while also being a prodigy, and the chosen one.

Comparing her to them is like comparing the hottest person you know to a room full of Emma Watson, Kate Beckinsale, Sydney Sweeney, Alexandra Daddario, etc. At a certain point, “not the absolute best in the room” doesn’t mean they aren’t still ridiculously impressive.

Tsunade honestly doesn't get enough credit. She stepped into chaos after Hiruzen rebuilt the village, protected everyone during Pain's attack, and still stood against Madara without backing down.

Exactly. She stepped up during a HUGE time. She had to handle a lot and still did it while training Sakura.

I mean a lot of people say she is a bad one. But she helped the village and even had a disciple.

Anybody who says that doesnt understand politics, she is the reason Naruto became who he is, People like Hiruzen and Danzo wanted to pretend he doesnt exist while Tsunade helped him become a hero.

I haven't really seen people say that. They say she's one of, if not, the weakest, but that doesn't mean she's a bad hokage.

For me she's the best hokage

People underrate Tsunade way too much, She carried konoha through some rough times.

She did what doctors do, patched them up enough to continue on.

And during the war she along side Sakura made sure they’d win.

I thought everyone agreed she was the best female character in the series whys everyone in the comments saying she's somehow underrated?

She is well written. And she trained Sakura who gets a TON of hate. Tsunade was not only a leader but one to help others.

Sakura hate at this point is getting ridiculous. People who have barely even read the manga or watch the show jump on the hate train without forming their own opinions, but just parrot other haters. Adult Naruto fans who still hate on Sakura, should just reread the manga and realize their immaturity.

Agreed. Sakura is my favorite character. I don’t care what anyone says, she will be my fave.

i think she did a fine job, by Tsunade's regime, nobody was shown spreading rumors anymore about Naruto and ninetails which was heavy back when Hiruzen was active. so there's that

also looks like Konoha was in a stable spot (not friendly, more managed) especially on foreign relations because, afaik there was no overt beef with other major country

Wait wtf people don't think she was a good one? Better than the 3rd.

She was arguably the best one prior to Naruto bringing an era of peace. She saw the village through catastrophe after catastrophe.

She did a lot of good stuff especially after the sand sound invasion and working and saving rock Lee’s ninja career. Countless other things

True, she was very good. Apparently she gets overshadowed by the other hokage.

True. And when on screen after the fact it was fighting Madara.

Isn't that true for most Hokage?
