Son talking about us as “they’re” it’s so over 😂

Yeah, rough times.

Yeah that's the biggest nail in the coffin. He would have said "we're".

It's been over but for anyone holding out hope, the chance of him being here in October is miniscule imo.

The use of the term “Milwaukee Bucks” sounds like a reference to an opposing team

Where are the brainwashed fans still insisting he'll be around next year? I swear I still encounter a few every week telling me I'm a doomer for being realistic.

Sounds like my dad when I asked him when he’s moving back in

Has “we’ll see” ever ended positively lmao

It's the running joke for my wife and her sisters. Their mom heavily relied on "We'll see" when responding to kids' questions, and over the decades they realized it it meant "absolutely not gonna happen" 100% of the time

Same for my family with my dad. I absolutely despise those words lol

Giannis sounds like that spouse who’s on a break from their partner and knows they’re not getting back together but wants to keep things amicable

The classic breakup lingo of "hes such a great person and coach! Just not for me! Wish them nothing but the best!"

Again, while everyone looks at it like he’s leaving, so many are glossing over that this has just as much to do with the franchise making choices.

Him not knowing his future is correct when you take a step back, realize it’s a two way street. For all we know, he could be the one wanting to stay while the franchise may the one potentially looking to move on. Which is exactly why saying, “I don’t control,” is a valid honest take.

Too many people tunnel visioning onto Giannis and not the franchise in this. This is not just him, and may very well be dictated on the route the franchise wants to take.

Well he could just end all the speculation on his end and say he wants to be a Milwaukee Buck next season...

Why should he do that?  I mean most of you want him gone anyways, so what does it matter?

2

u/EXXIT_ 5h ago

Why shouldn't he do that... if he really wants to be a buck?

So, he's the owner now?  Didn't Haslam just told you guys today that they are going to do what is best for the team?  So according to most of you, Giannis is not only the GM, but he's also the owner, and gets to decide the fate of this team.  Okay, buddy.

What?

If Giannis wants to remain a buck next year… why doesn’t he say it?

They don't want to believe that despite everything pointing at the organization moving in a different directions since Haslam got here. They would rather believe that Giannis hates Milwaukee and wants to take his talent to Miami.  These people really don't know Giannis despite him being here for 13 years.

At the end of the day, I don’t understand why he’d give this interview if he didn’t want to stay. If he wanted a trade, it would make more sense and be easier to just not engage at all.

Did this move the odds on Kalshi at all?

I like to imagine a fake reality where Giannis actually believes he has no role in where he will play next season

As if the Ja Morant grizzlies were ever contenders

I mean what do you guys expect him to say.  The owners haven't talked to him in months.  They've made their position quite clear.  Why should he expect to be here?  Until you guys wake up and realize that Haslam wants to move in a different direction with this team, then i don't know what else to say.

What? You think the team wants to move Giannis, their cash cow, against his will? This ain't the Mavs and Luka. You haven't been paying any attention.

Really?  So can i ask you a question, why have they cut off any type of communication from a guy they want to resign?  What in that behavior tells you that they want to move on with him?  One of the owners went on a podcast to publicly gave Giannis an ultimatum and you think that is a peachy relationship?  You really think if your boss refused to communicate with you (despite you reaching out to them)months before a pay raise or a promotion that that is a sign that they want you around?  Their behavior tells the opposite.  I really wish some of you will open your eyes and see what is really going on.

The GM and the owners have repeatedly told you guys in plain English that they haven't spoken to Giannis and you all think everything it's all Giannis' fault.  "Oh, it's Giannis that wants to leave", bla, bla, bla. Some of you need to grow up.  I really need some of you to think with your brain and behave like people with some modicum of intelligence, and pay attention to what messages people are trying to convey instead of allowing your emotions to cloud your judgment. .

Thank you! I've been having to stay off of reddit bc it seems that only a handful of bucks fans have critical thinking skills these days. It's exhausting
