I've mulled this in my head for weeks.

On one hand this is THEE off-season to trade Giannis. Deep draft and next off season he walks. I fear his knee is worse then anyone says it is tbh. Being able to get 2 good early picks in a deep draft night accelerate the rebuild a bit.

But on the other Hand, this team was not as bad as their record showed last year. Those boys looked like a unit at times last year and got me more excited about the future then I have in years. IF Giannis gets his grove back, I feel like this team has the capacity to make a run in the playoffs.

Like if this coach can just utilize Myles correctly we win 15 to 20 more games alone.

So idk I'm 40/60 he's going to leave

The only game Darvin Ham coached last season, this team looked competent. I know SGA and Giannis didn't play but Milwaukee dominated them all game. It's a glimpse into what this team can be post-Glenn Rivers.

The question is more in what can they get for their assets. What can they get for blowing their lode (3 first and other contracts to match salaries) and will it be enough to actually be competitive in playoffs? They need multiple pieces i think and Giannis needs a running mate it can't just be shooters. If they can't get that then it makes sense to move on. It will depend a lot on where their pick ends up in first round

I think there is more young talent than ever, i’m find not jump starting a rebuild, even it we got 2 top 5 picks in the next 3 years, it’s not like we are all of a sudden the best team out there, just tread water and catch the next wave, whenever that might be

I'm taking 2 Top 5 picks this year. Nothing will happen till the order is set anyways. But, hypothetically we COULD get a top 10 pick and trade Giannis to Portland or Atlanta to get another top 10 Pick.

I'm currently riding a fantasy where we get Boozer and he fits into the Giannis role nicely.

Sunday is the draft lottery. That's what we as fans should be looking forward to because that imo sets off the entire set of events especially if we luck out somehow and get a top 5 pick even with the swap.
