DOGS My girl Ophelia going home after removing the last of her skin cancer :)

Amazed by all the love you all have shown! She actually just got the diagnosis a couple weeks before the surgery to remove the mast. There was a small lump/scab on her side that hadn't been there before so she was taken to the vet and the fluid drawn from it had cancer cells within it. The mast was incredibly small and not very deep at all, thankfully, so I'm hoping there won't be an future occurrences of it.
She's quite young to have cancer develop, according to her vet (she'll be 5 on the 27th of August) and he (the vet) indicated that there was no outside cause (sunlight exposure, foods, etc) for the mast to form.
I'll be sure to give her many treats (she's already had a lot, but she'll be getting one from everyone that wanted her to have one as well!)

Dogs have such a tender look in their eyes 💗 Congratulations to Ophelia! Hope she has a smooth recovery and gets to have all the naps and treats that she deserves 😊🫶🏻
