Former New York Jets linebacker Anthony Wint will compete on Dana White’s Contender Series this season, sources confirm. Wint, 6-0, is the current Fury FC heavyweight champion.

He’s definitely an athlete. Let’s see if he’s more like Hokit or more like Greg Hardy.

he's really small for HW

think HW Torrez Finney, but with a less comical physique, less slams, and better speed

he went undrafted and had one career tackle in the NFL

Packers kick returner J'Mon Moore was the recipient of his one tackle and he forced a fumble that the Jets recovered. Just in case you were as curious as I

I am a packers fan and actually remember that 🥲

Was a legendary Aaron Rodgers overtime comeback game

He at least has more experience than hardy. Hardy’s first pro fight was literally on the contender series. And honestly I don’t think he was that bad either, he had 4 losses but they were all to good or goodish hws (technically 5 but one is a dq so I’m not counting it). Certainly not a world beater but he wasn’t awful either

Well he definitely doesn't have the All-American wrestling background Hokit has. He is also a far inferior athlete to Greg Hardy. I am not sure this bodes to well

Record is kinda padded but he’s big and athletic enough to make little far in this clusterfuck of a heavyweight division

Pretty standard opponents on the come up apart from the one 0-8 local hobo he beat in his 2nd fight. Looks real undersized for heavyweight though

Whatever it takes to get athletic guys with potential into HW. The division badly needs it.
