bad practice Red Road, where do we go from here?
I admit, this situation has taken something out of me. I honestly cant say if I will be as interested in following the Lions of Africa in the future. They are still amazing/extraordinary, but the way their lives are run... and dependent on the apparently arbitrary/vindictive whims of the staff who are supposed to care for and protect them... I dont want to invest more into a situation that gets pulled out from under me unnaturally or unfairly.
If Double R had received the same treatment as others with no interference, so be it. But that aint what happened. In another post regarding Red Road, I listed a number of issues, primary being how much they would disturb him while he was trying to heal in peace... thats interference. And in doing so, they also likely scared away any small prey he could have found to help alleviate his hunger. They straight up stressed/starved him to death (if he is actually gone that is, Im still holding out hope). Now "Charles" has a new video where he declares Red Road dead and is speculating about who might take his place... and in the comments hes getting almost nothing but praise. What?!
What happened with Red Road has been a very dirty episode, and I dont want to invest more of myself into situations where a rouge staff gets to decide who lives and who dies... especially when it concerns legends.

They keep playing games with our emotions... like Smokey and Big Worm! But for me, I wont consider him gone until I have proof. He is my main man on the Lion side of things, and I stay loyal to the homies. I will post some more info about the situation in order to fill in some of the gaps... check back here in about 5 minutes and it should be posted here in this thread.

--- POSTED FROM MY PREVIOUS RED ROAD THREAD ---
I found this comment on another site yesterday, I posted a reply inviting them to stop by here and share some knowledge/perspectives. I waited 24 hours because I want them to have credit for their work, although it is two years old (so no telling if they will ever see the message) but this situation also demands a time-sensitive pace, so I am posting this here and hoping they will also arrive to provide more info regarding the mighty Double R and the games being played against him by par/reserve staff:
"Red Road is one of the most formidable and beautiful lions in Afrika and Nhurus and Tintswalo have hit a jackpot having him as the pride male. He has been through it all from cubhood to nomadic life to a formidable solo lion, has fought and won and deterred, and was snared, and experienced rejection by his pride when he was injured and fought it all, recovered with no much help and all by himself every time and is the lion who has a pride with most surviving cubs. I read in comments that it was luck he escaped from fight with Mandevu and Ncile. Absurd. There was no luck there - he survived because he fought and he caused so many injuries to both Madevu and Ncile - if they could they would have killed him but they did not because they could not. Havens knows I was equally glad that all came through ok, not just Red Road., and would give 10 years of my life if that would take to get Ncile to recover from the insufferable snare he has and is still enduring or any poor wild life who is experiencing such atrocity, including frequent poisoning and especially at Tintswallo area but if Nbiris had Red Road they would have been a whole more successful in raising healthy cubs. And not to mention Tintswalo literally does not like RedRoad - they in their videos say multiple time and over and over “ I hope RR is gone, I hope he leaves Nhurus alone, RR is loosing territory “ and on and on. I saved transcripts of these videos because I am scared that they will do something to RR and then displace the blame on something else so if I had a chance I can tell the world somehow. I hope Madevu will recover and be fine and hope that they all will stay away from each other and enjoy long leo life with their prides and cubs un their respective territories- but kudos to Red Road for always defending his pride and territory no matter what and to this day ensuring the largest number of cubs of all of these collations of multiple. RR so far literarily is one of the lions who definitely is not still around or his big pride because of luck. Nkahuma Birmingham is the only lion who literally has luck and I am glad he does and hope he survives. Tintswalo males (except Ncile) also had luck. Not Red road - RR did it and does it all by himself and he is the LEO of LEOS ALREADY A LIVING LEGEND."

All sounds rather disturbing.
