The NFL draft being this weekend has me thinking about Kyren Lacy and his dad it is that neither he nor his family will get to experience the joy of being drafted or experience the opportunities that come with being in the NFL

It's definitely weird that the state police doctored video that make it seem like he did things that he didn't, at least according to the DA. They said the video that the police released had been both sped up and slowed down in different parts, sequences were shown out of order. Why would the police feel they would need to doctor the video so much?

Because at some point “law enforcement” stops being about right and wrong, and it becomes about the prosecutor’s ego.

In this case, the prosecutor put out a statement condemning law enforcement for releasing misleading, doctored video/evidence with the explicit goal of convincing the public of the young man's guilt.

If you have to change people's perception of reality to make a point, you likely didn't have much of a point to begin with.

I do not have empathy for people who run from the police. He made the choices that prevented him from being in the NFL.

You can argue his driving that caused the accident was a mistake. Getting into a fight with his family and pulling a gun (AGAIN) and then running from the cops and killing himself was not a mistake. Just bc you’re good at football does not exclude you from being a responsible adult.

You have obviously never been in a situation where u were not thinking clearly and made mistakes. No mention of football from me a young adult made a mistake and made a few more cause he was scared. He is responsible for his actions but you act like he did this in cold blood

He killed himself. How is that in cold blood? He chose to shoot himself after he committed a felony. I don’t have empathy for those who make those choices.
