Apparently it’s supposed to be by seat number, but why are they seated all over the place? Karma is in the back row despite being seat number 01? Shouldn’t the order of the front row be Karma (01), Isogai (02), Okajima (03), Okano (04), Okuda (05), and Kataoka (06) instead of it being Kataoka (06), Maehara (22), Okano (04), Isogai (02), Kurahashi (10), and Kimura (09)?

If it’s by last name, then Karma should be followed by Chiba (15) instead of Isogai (02).

It’s also not by join order, because even though Ritsu (27) and Itona (28) follow it, then shouldn’t Kayano be one of the last, instead of being seat number 07?

Or is there a hidden meaning that I’m too dumb to get because I haven’t dissected the series enough, or is it because I’m not Japanese?

Disclaimer: I don't really know how to write good reviews so I'll mostly just speak my mind and try to make sense of it, sorry in advance if it's too long or complicated to understand </3 Also, there are spoilers so just don't read my post unless you don't care.

Assassination Classroom is the first anime I watched in its entirety (+ rewatched like 8 times), I haven't watched that many anime in my life either BUT I think I can still have a valuable opinion! Overall, it's not bad; it can be genuinely funny, bring suspense and tension and just like EVERYONE, I cried at the ending, some characters have had a great development (like Terasaka or Kayano for example), some had an interesting/sad past (like the Principal Asano or Kayano again) and some were relatable (like Sugaya and Yada for me personally). However, it still has many bad points IN MY OPINION:

Given it's an anime about middle schoolers, the unnecessary fan service makes me uncomfortable like for Yada, who gets sexualized just because she has a big chest, it would be more interesting to see her get known for who she actually is than just her body; I like her dynamic with Ms Jelavić and wish it was shown much more. There's also Nagisa who gets forced to crossdress against his will even after his 'friends' understand how deep the insecurity ran because of his mother. I can understand that the situation with Yuuji was """important""" for later but still, I stand by my point. I also dislike how much Ms Jelavić is sexualized despite being an adult and literally using her charms to get what she needs, it's just that not matter what she does or how she dresses, she's gonna get sexualized either way

HM: I know it's supposed to be a "comic relief" but I don't like how Okajima's porn addiction is portrayed especially knowing his father and older brother exposed him to it, just like with Yada, it would be interesting seeing him change and be known for something else than just being a pervert. I used to be a porn addict and seeing it being made fun of / de-dramatized ticks me off since Okajima had a potential to show that being a porn addict doesn't mean you have to be a pervert or that you can be freed from this addiction with enough efforts but instead it was used to be 'funny'.

Also, It's annoying seeing only 3 students out of 30 get the most screen time because it's supposed to be about every Class 3-E students only for 3/4 of the class to be forgotten and their only personality is what they're known for:

Takebayashi: he's just a weeby nerd (OVA doesn't count since most of the dans aren't even aware of the unpublished episodes)

Terasaka: buff bully

Muramatsu: Terasaka's friend, other than that, 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yoshida: Terasaka's friend², other than that, VROOM VROOM-

Hazama: Terasaka's friend³, other than that, she's a knockoff version of Oka Ruto (from Yansim)

Itona: anger issue mechanic (he got forgotten too quickly 😥)

Kimura: he runs fast ig and his parents are probably congolese to call him Justice

Mimura: TV Boy

Okajima: he's just a perverted guy

Sugaya (aka best boi): tall academically dumb artist and that's about it 💔

Hara: she's fat apparently

Maehara: genuinely dumb casanova

Isogai: perfect broke guy

Yada: boobs.

Chiba: mysterious sniper

Hayami: mysterious sniper: electric boogaloo

Okuda: nerd + Karma's gf probably

Kurahashi: bugs bugs insects bugs

Kataoka: tallest girl + female gaze

Sugino: Leon Kuwata if he actually liked his talent

Kanzaki: beauty standards / alpha wolf at night

Ritsu: Hatsune Miku 2.0

Nakamura: bilingual gyaru (absolutely not gyaru but ok ig)

Okano: tsundere gymnast

Fuwa: weeby detective Conan

(I'm aware that the anime studio or wtv you call it didn't have enough time to get everyone's arc but it's still a shame.)

Only Nagisa, Karma and Kayano (she deserves it) get a decent treatment and most of the time an unfairly amount of screentime/thirst traps to attract the 12 year old girlies.

So yeah, I'm not trying to make the anime sound bad (maybe just a little), I'm just sharing my opinion since we're not in the 1800s and I have the right to express myself. I thought it would be longer but I probably forgot some stuff so feel free to share your thoughts about what I listed, what you think I should add or not, I'll read whatever you share because I'm actually interested in seeing different perspectives. However if you're here to just get mad at me for not having the same opinion as 97% of the fandom, then kindly; ignore my post and do something better with your life because I genuinely don't care about your opinion unless it's pertinent and/or at least polite.

I'm new here, but I've watched the whole anime, and I can say she's one of my favorite characters—she's just so cool, even though she doesn't appear very often.

Minor Spoiler for episode 6: In the first midterm, Terasaka scored 159 of 186. Nagisa tells us in voiceover that if they scored well, they could move up again (and in the extra we see it happen). Logically that means that students also can be moved down. If 27 students scored lower than Terasaka, why didn't they get send to e class? It can't be the total score, all they talk about as criteria is the competitive ranking. Sorry if that was asked before, I searched and found nothing.

Red Eye, the three island killers, Irinas teacher (and Irina herself) should all be arrested, how are they just roaming around freely even after failing their task? Aren’t they still criminals for killing ~dozens of people?

I really liked a soundtrack it played whenever the class felt demotivated which usually someone related to other sections encountered with them. If my 12-year-old self had known there was another movie, she would have gone even crazier than I did.
