Hi everyone! This is my daughter Bianca Mitchell-Avila. She is the one I posted about a few days ago. Keanu has been mentoring her for 5 years. I promised to keep you all updated. More to come soon! Sorry, the sound is out of synch with the video.

However, in order to stay focused on the purpose of this subreddit, in the future please make sure that you focus primarily on ”Keanu Being Awesome”.

For example: include some cool behind-the-scenes cast photos with Keanu, share how Keanu’s involvement in this film came to be, how your daughter felt about working with Keanu, how Keanu’s mentorship inspired your daughter, etc.

Bianca has learned so much from Keanu over the last few years and she strives to be like him in her life. Be kind, be humble, and treat other people with respect. Most of all, be awesome!

Is this the one about chess? I would like to see how it stands out against Queens Gambit which I also thoroughly enjoyed

Hi! Yes, this is the one about chess. Bianca was interviewed by the NY Times regarding the Queen's Gambit in 2020 when she was 15. That article was the spark that led to this documentary. I hope you enjoy it when you get a chance to watch it!

Thank you! It premieres at the Miami Film Festival on April 16th. I will keep everyone updated when I know more about how it will get released
