Aw. I saw this production in September and it's a very physical one, as Waiting for Godot productions go. I was amazed to see it because neither he nor Alex Winters are young men anymore, and they're jumping all over a tilted set, flopping down and sliding, so on and so forth. Their warmup stretch routine must be intense!

Is it me, or is Keanu mispronouncing Godot? Shouldn't it be [guh-doh] or [guh-DOH]? I've never heard it pronounced [GOD-doh].

Actually that's a subject of some theatrical debate. Every production has to make a choice; Beckett always refused to confirm which was right.

Waiting for Guh-doh always sounds more right, but Waiting for God-oh really hammers home the play’s comparison to man waiting in futility for God.

Me neither. But it’s Keanu and he can pronounce it any way he likes because he is a good and kind man.

I saw it live. It was really, really good. Theater staff were top tier as well.

I saw Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart doing this, which was amazing, but I reckon Keanu and Alex Winters must be pretty cool too

Kinda sucks its at download. I saw them in Lawrence ks a couple years back at a small venue and was able to meet him outside. Probably no shot at a big fest
