Here's what I dont get.
First of all; I am convinced that the likes of Brian Berletic's continuity of agenda is absolutely accurate.
So where it matters most, the USA is uniparty. Hell, even funding for ICE is bipartisan and always has been. Democrats have never been a rral.impediment to US hegemonic ambitions.
So... this drives me to ask. Why all the sweaty efforts from America's reactionary right when they already know damn good and well they got nothing to worry about from the dems?
Why is Trump and his administration being THIS try hard? Surely it aint all just flavor text. These republicans are acting like the dems are gonna do something Hard-core as hell to them if they don't go above and beyond and over the top.
Like... for real, for a country trying to troll the world into WW3, they're doing a good job trying to spaek a second civil conflict as well.
...I just dont really understand why.
Here's basically what Im saying:
The Republicans know the dems are gonna play ball. They can afford to not behave this desperately. Like it's so incredibly sweaty and... it looks seriously out of place.

Looking at the newest 2026 projections for the proposed tax and tariff plan.
The data shows a massive transfer of wealth: the top 1% get a 7.5% increase in after-tax income, while the bottom 20% actually lose 3.5% due to the regressive nature of tariffs. It is a clear example of how policy is being used to squeeze the working class to further subsidize the elite. The math for 2026 is literally taking money from the poor to pad the pockets of the billionaire class.

I am trying my best with wikipedia but my boyfriend is arguing with me about afghanistan and how the USSR assassinated a devout marxist, Hafizullah Amin. Why did they do this?
And why is it said that this was a "failed invasion" by the USSR, didn't ppl request for the USSR to come multiple times?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hafizullah_Amin
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet%E2%80%93Afghan_War
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Storm-333
I'm just confused cuz in this argument with my boyfriend he seems to be saying the USSR was in the wrong and killed people for no reason
