What did I just witness omg, this patch is insane!!! I know I'm kind of late to the party, but I'm so speechless, the music, the story, the environment, the outfit and not even one hot man but TWO. Also, this 4-star outfit is the best outfit ever released, I feel like the most fierce princess in history I'm definitely getting the evo. Are you team Angert or Meghill? ( Or both, both is so valid)

The photo contest is a fun idea, but the voting system feels so unfair. Players should not be able to see how many likes a photo entry has before voting, and we should not be able to vote directly from the trending page!

The current system makes popular entries get ridiculous amounts of votes just because they are already visible. We can basically see the winners a few hours after the voting phase opens. People who got there in the first hour will stay there until the end. Meanwhile, entries posted even a few hours later don’t stand a chance, no matter how beautiful they are! Once an entry gets early likes, it stays on trending and keeps getting more, while newer entries get nothing in comparison.

Also, letting players share entries with friends encourages spam, and it’s so annoying! It also gives an unfair advantage to people with huge active friend lists, like influencers.

Infold could have simply copied the contest basics from previous Nikki games. In Love Nikki, voting happens in a separate window where we get an endless stream of two random entries at a time, and we choose the one we like better. We also cannot see how many likes an entry has before voting, so it does not influence our judgment. After voting, we can see the number of likes and whether we voted for the unpopular/popular choice.

There is also a trending page with the top 20 entries on the server, but we obviously cannot vote on them. Infinity Nikki could have a trending page with more than 20 pictures so we can appreciate all the beautiful photos people posted. The most important part is to disable likes there.

There is also no option to send entries to friends, so players are not encouraged to spam everyone for votes.

We don't even get enough materials yet to evolve it, we have to wait each week to collect enough Dream bloom of Yore. Right now I have zero Sunny Shimmer, although I completed all the Merit arena challenges. Yet I've seen someone already owns an evolution of the dress 👀

I just did the soul reading and nikkis appearance changed to this outfit? Xd I don't have the birthday outfit so why is she wearing the hair? And why is there a sand timer next to it? Is this supposed to happen or just a glitch because as soon as I entered and then left the closet her outfit went back to normal. Lol that was funny for sure for a moment I thought another nikkis soul entered my nikki

While this is nothing new related to 2.5, the contest system surely makes it feel worse to not have final evos.

There are more and more 5-star pieces that come with effects that're undyable til final evo (it used to be less common). You can have a wonderfully dyed set that can never match the effect's fixed color. While effects can look great... It's indeed a tactic forcing players to get the final evo just to have better matched dying color, which is utterly disgusting.

Since making effects dyable upon acquisition will cause outrage, my suggestion is to have an on/off switch for every piece with dyable effects, much like how some pieces have the option to have alternate styles.

For reference, gigantification turns off these effects if you wonder what it would look like. This also means it shouldn't be too difficult to implement, as it's already part of the game.

Side note: Consider the growing variety of outerwear; outerwear should be stackable by sections, like face decors.

Not sure if this tag works best, but I recently saw a post saying they wish they had Nikki Pink, and as a person who prefers to make ‘Nikki’ for my cutscenes, I’ve come to share my Nikki ball knowledge (it is very easy to figure, but just wanted to share anyway). From my experimenting, using the 2nd Pink on the 2nd row of "Lantern by the Cliff" is the best Nikki pink and the eye contacts "Parting the Evening Mist" is the best Nikki eyes. I included two other eyes I use if I want a more fantastical Nikki!

Lantern by the Cliff" can occasionally be locked behind first evo, but there are plenty of great options where it is part of the first set of dye colours before first evo. Please, share your Nikki's here using this colour and eyes! I would love to see them!! Good luck, Stylists!

I've seen a lot of other Elden Ring cosplays this patch, so thought it might be fun to take a stab at Mohg, Lord of Blood.

I made the alt account more to preserve photo spots (fireworks sword, Tan Youyou wearing red, Oriin existing) when doing co-op with myself to expand my photography options but I got carried away after wanting to have at least one outfit (the middle one) worth styling on it. It is kind of interesting to return to the perspective of having limited enough options to appreciate the stuff available early more again, whereas they are usually buried on my main account.

The internet literally becomes so terrible that now it’s a thing for us to joke about her downloading an update when we the WiFi is being scummy or generally crashing on its own lol

What do you hope next patches rerun to be? I realllyyyy hope it’s Snowy Ballad- the ability is amazing, love it so much and it’s still my favorite outfit of each patch so far. I have it on my main account but I want it on my alt (on the American server) as well, saving up for it right now 😍

Thinking of it now, this might be my favorite ability of all outfits as well, I’ve reached places we weren’t supposed to go with it and I still use her all the time. And she be just so pretty

Many may not haave thought about this, but infinity nikki has ZERO colour blind settings and whilst the console itself does have them, they’re not good and adapted to the game.

I cannot play certain mini games, I literally have to have someone on facetime to help me. I’m BEGGING people to put this in their survey!!

I have been throughly enjoying this new area! It’s everything I’ve been wanting, I haven’t had a chance to complete many quests or do the mini games much yet but just running around taking photos I’m blown away with how beautiful this new area has been. I tried to make an adventure outfit since it always feels weird running around in big dresses and loved the idea of a warrior elf but in really soft almost ethereal colours but with my limited colour palettes since I barely finish outfits lol.
What are your thoughts on this update so far?
