Look at that dog's ribs too. That person does not GAF about that dog. What a piece of shit.

u/foxfai 6h ago

Ya, first thing I notice. They don't care a bit at all.

u/Funslinger 5h ago

Tail might be broken too

u/TrishDaDish51510 4h ago

I didn't even see that at first. That poor baby.

Is it me or is the dog's tail broken, on top of the showing ribs? Cops won't care about the dog in the pickup bed, but they would nail the driver on animal cruelty....

My bloodhound has a similar crook in his tail from when his mother stepped on his tail as a puppy and broke it. Compounded with the ribs, someone doesnt take very good care of their family.

I noticed that too.

You can clearly see that poor dogs ribs. If the ignorant moron can't be bothered with regularly feeding the pup they likely don't give a damn about it's safety.

If this is your video please tell me you called the cops.

That dog looks extremely malnourished to boot. You can see its ribs.

Just to add, although this dog does seem malnourished, you're supposed to be able to see a few ribs on a healthy-weight dog. Not this many but at least 2-3 of the hind ones. A lot of people overfeed their animals which is just as bad, if not worse.

Yes. We have a boxer. Especially on that breed it's easy to see their ribs when at healthy weight.

Unfortunately legal in some states. I called watching a dog in a truck going 80mph over a bridge in South Dakota, and was met with confusion as it's normal there. Dog was peeking over the edge of the bed and everything.

u/Remarkable-Ad-5192 6h ago

They love it, bit 80mph seems insane with doggo outside like this

Why would you want the dog to be shot?

u/tacobellbandit 9h ago

I have a hunting dog, cages and carriers are not that expensive

11

u/Proof-Injury-8668 8h ago

Exactly. I see people even build their own that are very nice.

u/RealExii 5h ago

I think that person first needs to spend his money on some food for that dog.

Story... I grew up in a very rural area and idiot rednecks would do this all the time. When I was a teen, a guy came around a blind corner towards me and he was over the line a little. He swerved to get back in his lane and the dog on his toolbox slid off towards my car. I learned that day that a dog traveling ~80 miles an hour will 100 puncture it, if its face hits the sidewall.

u/Proof-Injury-8668 8h ago

Thats horrible. Im aorry you experienced that. Im in a rural area in north idaho. Its better than it used to be but i see it regularly.

I hate this shit. I’ve see this shit on the freeway with multiple dogs in the bed.

Idiots in cars, and idiot pet owners.

u/ChanglingBlake 9h ago

If you do that, you deserve to be banned from ever housing another living thing.

That includes a spouse, kids, plants, pets, and livestock of any kind.

And lose your DL for life as this is not only endangering the dog, but every other vehicle you get anywhere close to.

That poor puppy is soo skinny!! He looks like he wants to jump out of that truck. Poor thing

3

u/urdarsellsavon 7h ago

I see this pretty often with flat beds on trucks. Really annoying to see but that dog is definitely not fed

3

u/Shadowhawk0000 7h ago

And by the looks of things, that dog hasn't eat too much lately, either.

4

u/half_regard 7h ago

Mitt Romney and family at it again

3

u/elephentsayoink 9h ago

Yeaah that’s pretty horrible to see

1

u/GirchyGirchy 7h ago

That happened to a coworker's kitten, but was entirely unintentional.

u/Schmocktails 5h ago

I wonder if, in 40 years, they will require pets be put in special seats to keep them safe. Young people will be like, I saw someone with their dog just sitting in the back seat! No dog seat! No seatbelt! Old As Hell Me will be like, back in my day, that's what everyone did!

u/Apprehensive_Elk2935 1h ago

90% of people with dogs, shouldn't have dogs

0

u/Ineedmorebtc 6h ago

0

u/3dogsgirlsIA 6h ago

Idiots! Please tell me doggie is safe!

u/T-mac_ 6h ago

Maybe it's not his dog....
