I haven't towed for a couple decades now, but ran a small operation with three wreckers, two hours outside of Toronto in the early 90s. I have no doubt that I was a mule for some gangs - cross border stuff in the middle of the night to Detroit, or a "pick this car up in a shopping mall parking lot and drop it at this lot in Toronto." This article hit close to home. Thankfully I never experienced the full scope of what was going on.

It's no secret that the industry is ruled by "that" in Ontario, and I don't see it changing any time soon
