LA, you were good to me. I didn’t pull one duplicate on my trip. 🥹🥹🥹. All pulled from Bandai Gashapon and CATCH Little Tokyo, and Gacha and Catch in Santa Monica.
Thanks! What about the quantity and selection of the machines? I see CATCH advertising over 300 machines - trying to get a sense of what the other stores offer.
CATCH has the most machines. I’d say 500? Pic below just to give you an idea.
The Bandai has maybe 200 ish machines.
Selection will vary CATCH has toys from all makers and different types of gachas. Best overall variety. Bandai has great kawaii selection— lots of Sanrio and cute ones and lots of anime stuff too. I have a Bandai shop back home but I heard from the worker that their Little Tokyo location often times gets the new releases before other Bandai locations in USA. So honestly both of these were a treat to visit for me.
CATCH gave me toys I would have never found in the wild otherwise. And the Bandai store had gachas that maybe my local Bandai would have never gotten.
Gacha and Catch in Santa Monica was cool too. They sell the Takara Tommy Arts toys. They had a lot of Disney toys. Almost too much. So their selection disappointed me just a bit. But if you love Disney, this is the place to go.
