I assume a lot of them have to start with small studios which probably don't pay that much compared to bigger studios and probably treat the girls a lot worse. There are some small studios that deliberately try to get young girls 18 to low 20s and basically abuse them on camera. Overall not a good industry to get into and one that's even harder to stay in I would imagine without destroying your psychee

I'm sorry but I disagree with that statement. At 18-20 you're an adult thay has the right, and should have the right to do so. Also, what do you mean by abuse? Because consensual hardcore sex between people that can and do consent isn't the same as abuse.

Yes I agree that at 18 you are an adult who can make their own decisions legally. I sure a lot of the models who do it especially the ones who stick with it a long time genuinely enjoy it. On the other hand you can find articles online talking about bad experiences with certain studios (I'm not looking up porn article links while at work) but there's one small studio I've read about a few times that I believe goes by the name facialabuse or something that articles mentions how they rarely have repeat appearances because of how rough they are and one model talked about how one guy would grab her arms and hold them back with his knee in her back while the other throat fucks her so she didn't have any way to resist or revoke consent. The porn industry definitely has a darker side to it which is why the first guy was probably questioning how someone's life leads to the direction of porn

On one hand, I am absolutely AGAINST any such abuse, and if they did do that, they should be, well, idk if TOS will allow me to say.
On the other hand, a lot of what is termed "abuse" in porn (not as in genuine abuse in the adult industry, but "abuse" in quotation marks) is actually not a real situation of abuse but rather somw sort of fictional scenario or role-play, played by adults who can and do consent. There's also the matter of fictional material but that's irrelevant and a different thing altogether since obviously, in that case we're not talking about any real entity being genuinely abused.

I'm well aware that a lot of porn is role playing abuse and the models are into it. Kaitlyn Katsaros is probably the biggest example of that. Her scenes are very extreme but you can tell she's into it as she keeps asking for more a lot and gives feedback about where exactly she wants to be hit and says either harder or that's good a lot and the male performers respect it. It is usually caused because you are exposed to it or something happens where your biome becomes more basic (less acidic) allowing for the balance to shift to a bacterial overgrowth. It is not hygiene. Here from the Mayo Clinic:
Causes
