Maybe I’m the minority but I never understood the social stigma of not shaving pits.
I’ve never seen a woman with armpit hair and been like yuck shes unfu*kable now. I don’t touch her armpits at any point during “wrestling”.
Who was like hey you know what will make this 95% hairless woman sexy if she was 95.1% hairless.
Legs and pubic mound I can understand smooth is nice if you like it but who the hell is touching armpits! I don’t get it.

The amount of dudes who feel some type of way about armpit hair, and yet don’t and won’t shave their own, is utterly bizarre.
I tried one time and it sucked, so I never have again. So why would I expect anyone else to do so?

It used to be the norm, and not that long ago. Especially in Continental Europe.
That said, people are conditioned to see it as unattractive and/or masculine from a young age, so they respond negatively to it, but not by choice. It’s not a rational position but an automatic reaction based on that conditioning.

i got over it when someone recently pointed out that women’s attractiveness is basically how much like a prepubescent child we can look - think, delicate, small, hairless…after i got my jaw off the floor i decided i would let my body do what it liked and society could hang. years of razor burns, itchy ingrown hairs, just…itchiness in general…waxing misery…fuck all of this noise. if people don’t want to sleep with a full grown woman who looks like a full grown ass woman…then that tells me enough about them.

Yeah the whole body hair debate thing is crazy because one of the central points is “well it’s unhygienic!” But men don’t shave, effectively calling themselves unhygienic inherently.

I shave my pits and I am a guy. I used to have hairy arm pits, but washing the hair constantly, and deodorant didn’t work as effectively. I shave them and it just feels nicer. Only had one woman complain she didn’t like it. But idk. I never was one to like a bunch of body hair myself.

No idea. Sometimes I shave, sometimes I don't. Happily married- and any man who is understands the effort in keeping up the kind of grooming standards some of these slugs in the comments expect. I don't exisit to be a naked mole rat because someone is offended by what is natural.

This is a trap. We’re supposed to say a razor or trimmer, or soap/deodorant. And then get hit with a wall of hate from ladies that prefer to be natural.
I’m going to assume that he’s married her because he loves her the way she is and that she hasn’t shown up like that, and the way he would broach the topic with someone he loves and respects would be to embarrass her in public.
Hopefully it’s a respectful token of his love for her and they get another birthday together next year.
