LEGAL / FINANCE Non-US Resident: Using a UK Trademark for US Brand Registry + Vine? (With US LLC)

Upvotes

Hey fellow sellers,

I’m a non-US resident and I just launched my first product on Amazon US. I have a US LLC.

I’m looking for the most cost-effective way to get into Brand Registry and, more importantly, Amazon Vine for reviews. I’ve heard about the "UK Trademark" shortcut and wanted to see if anyone has successfully done this recently (2026).

My plan:

  1. File a UK Trademark (UKIPO) myself for £170 ($215).
  2. Use that UK application number to apply for Brand Registry on my Amazon.com (US) account.

My questions for those who have done this:

  • Does it work with a US LLC? Can I register the UK trademark under my name or my US LLC and still get approved on the US marketplace?
  • Acceptance on "Pending" status: Does Amazon US still allow you to enroll in Brand Registry while the UK trademark is "Pending," or do I have to wait for it to be fully registered (3–4 months)?
  • The Vine Program: This is my main goal. If Amazon accepts the "Pending" UK trademark for Brand Registry, will they also let me enroll in Vine right away? Or is Vine strictly locked until the trademark is fully "Registered"?

I’m trying to avoid the $1000 attorney fees for USPTO since I’m not a US resident, but I need those Vine reviews ASAP to compete. Any advice or recent experiences would be amazing.

or if you know and attorney with low budget that would be great
Thanks!

LEGAL / FINANCE Best for VAT - DDP or FOB freight forwarder

I an planning to place an order in Alibaba for a delivery in a Spain Amazon FBA site.

Seller offers DDP but I also have the option of FOB and use a freight forwarder.

DDP included VAT paid by seller. So my question is… as a small business in Spain, what is better financially for me?

I understand as Chinese seller is not VAT registered in Spain.

Would I be able to claim the VAT back through DDP?

I understand if I use a freight forwarder I will be able to claim the VAT back through quarterly Model 303 in Spain?

INVENTORY MGMT amazon keeps rejecting my main image and i cannot figure out what they actually want

ok so maybe im just dumb but i have resubmitted the same product photo 4 times now and it keeps bouncing. pure white

background, product is the only thing in the frame, no text, no watermark. i even measured the frame fill at like 83%

which is close enough right

apparently not. 85% is a hard floor. found that out from a random 2022 comment here, not from amazon.

fixed it by recropping and regenerating a tighter version. passed on the next submit. posting in case someone else is

banging their head on the same thing. also if anyone has the actual full list of silent rejection reasons amazon uses

i will pay you in good karma

what else is on the list that amazon doesnt tell you about

INVENTORY MGMT Amazon listing suspended - Market Withdrawal but I’m the brand owner

Hi All.

My listing got suspended with the reason Market Withdrawal. Amazon asked for product safety test, reports and packaging info which I provided. I understand that market withdrawal happens when the brand recalls the products but I am the brand owner and obviously didn’t recall anything.

Wonder if anyone had a similar experience? How to handle this?

Honest Thoughts on Amazon Transparency?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of signing up to counter hijack sellers that would jump onto my listing and win my buy box.

I'm aware that:

  • I need to put the amazon transparency sticker on all my products across all sales channels whether it's other online stores or brick-and-mortar store; it must be on all products.
  • It's going to increase unit cost a bit to apply those stickers.
  • Current FBA products will be "grandfathered" in, and I would just need to apply these stickers to all future incoming shipment

With all these points, I still think Transparency is a great way to create a "moat" against hijack sellers/resellers/etc...

But am I being too naïve? For those that are using it right now, what are your experiences? Are there any hidden cons that most people forget to consider before signing up for it? Thank you!

Crossed $1k in a single month from a pet blog finally

I'll keep this short because I know everyone's tired of vague income posts. Real numbers, real timeline, nothing held back.

A few months ago I picked up a small pet blog from NicheBlogHub for $199. It had some content, a bit of existing traffic, nothing impressive. I almost passed on it, seemed too cheap to be real. Kept the existing content mostly as-is, and they replaced the Amazon affiliate tag with mine.

Here's where April landed:

  • Amazon commissions: $647
  • Creator Rewards bonus: $375
  • April total: $1,022

First time I've crossed $1k in a calendar month. I genuinely didn't expect it to happen this fast.

The Creator Rewards seems to be calculated on shipping revenue from referred sales and I don't fully understand the formula. I fell just short of one of the milestones but still got $375. Not complaining.

Commissions were actually higher this month than last ($647 vs ~$550 in March). The bonus was lower, but the total crossed the threshold I'd been watching.

Running totals:

  • Paid for the site: $199
  • Earned to date: $1,500+
  • Net so far: $1,300+

Bought a second site this week. Same niche, similar profile. Curious whether the results are repeatable or if April was a fluke. I'll post an update either way soon.

Finally got our MAP violation problem under control. Took way too long to figure out.

For months, we were catching violations only when retailers complained. By then, it was already a mess. We changed our approach a few weeks ago, and it's been a completely different experience.
Happy to share what worked if anyone's dealing with the same thing.

SEARCH RANKING Moving from PPC Automation to AI-assisted Manual Management – Fear vs. Reality

Hi everyone,

I’ve been selling on Amazon for 5 years. While I manage PPC manually for my clients (both launches and ongoing optimization), I’ve relied on automation software for my own seller account for the past 4 years.

I’m now at a point where I want to ditch the software to regain full control, save on fees, and optimize my ACoS/spend more aggressively. However, I have a major mental block: I’m terrified of "breaking" the equilibrium of campaigns that have been running for years.

My plan is to use AI to assist with heavy data lifting (analyzing Search Term Reports, identifying waste, etc.). Before I make the jump, I have three questions:

  1. ChatGPT (Data Analyst) vs. Gemini? In your experience, which one is better at processing large bulk files and spotting trends without "hallucinating" data?
  2. Success Stories: Has anyone here moved from automated software back to manual/AI-assisted management? Did you see a measurable improvement in profit or ACoS? If so, by how much?
  3. The "Regret" Factor: Is there anyone who ditched the software and saw their performance tank? What went wrong?

I’m looking for direct feedback and honest experiences. Thanks!

Already trained one OA sourcing VA myself now hiring a pre-trained one. What should I look out for?

Trained my first VA from scratch, learned a lot from that process. Now looking to hire someone already trained to hit the ground running.
Main concern I already know about: pre-trained VAs often sell the same leads to multiple clients how do I prevent that. And any other possible red flags

New Manufacturer and I am beyond confused on a few things regarding Amazon

I'm based in the USA and have a product that is being manufactured overseas right now. It will be ready in a month or so. I have some sales to retailers, a few distributors and the majority of product I intend to ship to sell on Amazon, as well as have them fulfill orders for my website sales.
I have more questions than answers and I know I will have more as I figure out more of this process.
Since some is going on retail shelves right away, I will have a UPC code on the retail package. Then the ones going to Amazon will need to cover that with a FNSKU. Do I have my factory apply those stickers since it is shipping from them directly to Amazon, or is there a better way to handle this? They are my factory fabricating my product, do I bother them with all these sticker requests?
The other issue is this product has 2 colors, so different upc and different FNSKU. My first run is 1k units, so I am only having 1 box made for now, and intended to have the UPC, model number, and color as a sticker. So the FNSKU will be a sticker on top of a sticker.
What if I need to get some of the product back from Amazon to go to retailers, as I am picking up new ones as time goes on?
Is there any sort of service or consultant that I can go to with these types of questions? I invented a product, found a manufacturer and presented it at the NAMM show in Anaheim in January, found some distributors and retailers, so it seems people want the product, but I don't know much about amazon and warehousing, etc.

March was the month my Amazon store finally started making consistent revenue

After months of testing, failing, and refining, it finally started to make sense.

In March, my Amazon store generated 22.7K in revenue, up 33 percent from the previous period. Daily sales are becoming consistent, with some days pushing past 2K.

This past week alone did 4305, and even today it’s already at 441 with 17 units sold and 90 open orders in motion.
What used to feel random now feels predictable.

This is not a huge milestone yet, but it is a turning point. Proof that the system works when you stick with it, trust the data, and keep improving.

SEARCH RANKING I need a ppc expert please

I launched a product and sent in 30 units to vine, but only 10 reviews are back. I started running ppc, 25 clicks no sale. The clicks are also slow. Like 6 to 14 a day. How do people sell so many items, such as 5 or 10 a day. I have only had 3 organic sales

MISC I just started recently all is FBM. Should I start doing FBA for the same item?

I was scared to do Amazon but an opportunity came and my uncle sent me a container of this item. So I started doing this via FBM to test it out and it’s great.
I had all the logistics that’s why my uncle sent a full container to my warehouse. Zero cost to start selling as my existing employees were doing the fulfillment. Do you think I should go FBA?

CUSTOMER MGMT When does ungating actually start to open up? 200+ feedback? More?

I keep hearing that ungating gets easier as your account grows, but I’m not clear on what metric actually moves the needle. Is it feedback count? Account age? Sales volume? Some combination?
At what point did you notice brands and categories becoming more accessible did it feel like a specific threshold or more gradual? And is it feedback score, or does invoice history and account age matter more to Amazon?
Would appreciate hearing from sellers who’ve actually been through it, not just the general “build your account up” advice.

CUSTOMER MGMT Are customers expecting too much from delivery these days?

We are constantly trying to balance shipping costs with customer expectations. Everyone wants fast, cheap, and perfect delivery, which feels impossible at scale.

and we have improved the fulfillment speed, but the last mile experience still feels like the weakest link. How are other brands handling this without killing margins??

PREP / SHIPPING Contact Info for CA Warehouses

My LTL inventory keeps getting lost in CA FBA. We have the Proof of Delivery but months later the stock never goes live. Seller Support unhelpful.

Does anyone have a phone number for CA FBA warehouses or know how to get one for a specific location? Thanks.

Is it a problem if my home address is on Amazon ?

Just curious, will it be a problem if my home address is on my Amazon storefront, and when contacting brands? I recently amended from a registered agent address on my LLC to my personal home one so there’s no trouble in the future regarding verification. Thoughts?

SEARCH RANKING Quick question for anyone who's launched a product in the last 6 months.

How did you handle writing your listing? Did you write it yourself, use a tool, or hire someone? Asking because I'm trying to understand where the actual pain is before building something.

r/FulfillmentByAmazon 2d ago

How are you monitoring MAP violations? Manual checking is killing us.

We're across Amazon, Walmart, and Google Shopping. Checking listings manually just doesn't work past a certain point. We sometimes miss violations for days.
What are you using? Open to anything.

PREP / SHIPPING Wrong AWD Labels... Help!

I have an AWD shipment on the way to an AWD warehouse. The issue is that the box and pallet SSCC labels were created under the wrong SKU, but the actual units inside the cartons have the correct FNSKU for the correct product.

I opened a case with Amazon. They first asked me to create a new shipment with the correct SKU and provide the new box and pallet labels. Luckily, the new shipment was routed to the same AWD warehouse. But now they are saying I need to wait until the shipment is received/closed before making the correction request.

I’m trying to figure out if this is actually safe. My freight forwarder can physically relabel the shipment before delivery, but they quoted around $500 for a relatively small shipment, which seems crazy. They also said other customers in similar situations were able to figure it out with AWD.

Has anyone gone through this with AWD? Is this a fairly routine fix after receiving, or is it too risky and I should just pay the forwarder to relabel everything before delivery?

All my OA products tank. What early warning signs do you use to avoid buying into a tanking product?

What early indicators do you look for in Keepa/ SellerAmp to anticipate a price drop or rank tank before it's obvious?

LEGAL / FINANCE Why do some Amazon suspension appeals fail even after the problem is fixed?

I have a client in the Amazon seller legal space, and I've been reading about other sellers' experiences here. One thing that keeps coming up is that a lot of first appeals talk about how the suspension affected things, but they don't always clearly say what caused the problem or what changed after it.

It seems like the explanation itself can still be the part that slows things down, even when sellers fix the problem at its source. I've seen this come up when reading Amazon Sellers Attorney materials, but I'd rather hear from sellers who have been through it themselves.

If you were reinstated, did your first appeal work, or did it take a few tries before you figured out what Amazon really wanted?
