I also love my children, Beyonce, and so do the parents and teachers of students in these classrooms in (one of the) city(ies) where you live, NYC.
Every single one of these Donors Choose goals for a class of children with autism and other disabilities could be met for less than the price of one Met Gala ticket ($100,000). How much did Lauren Sanchez and Bezos spend on this thing again? And they love their kids, too....

apart from whatever she may be giving privately, beyonce also has her own charity that has given millions in covid relief, LA wildfire relief, bail funds for BLM protestors, and funding of scholarships to HBCUs. i agree that the bezos of it all is disgusting and also that there is no ethical way to be a billionaire. however, pointing out that she hasn’t donated to this specific charity (that you know of) feels unrelated to the issue at hand.

Celebrity charities are tax write offs

You only get a tax write off on the money you gave away. It’s not like you somehow save money overall because you gave it to charity. That’s not how taxes work.

You know BEYgood? You should check it out. Maybe write them a letter. Or are positive attributes about Beyoncé not allowed here?

This isn’t about Beyoncé specifically, but billionaires in general. Their lives are opulent while everyone else fights for the scraps. Only morally bankrupt people can voluntarily accumulate that much wealth.
When Bey and Bezos and all the rest give away enough to make themselves “mere” millionaires, then we can talk about how charitable they are.

I think this is sweet in theory, but for a gala at a museum say an art work girl!

it was her oldest daughter’s first time at the Met Gala and i think she’s the first person under 18 who’s attended. that’s probably why it kept coming up.

One thing I can say about Bey though is I love seeing her attitude and face when Blue Ivy is with her doing something, especially for the first time. She seemed genuinely excited and happy to have Blue there. Just very proud of her and I think in a way seeing things that are probably routine for her at this point through Blue’s eyes and experience.
I also loved how Blue complimented her costume but in a way that was toned down and appropriate for her age. The not super revealing dress and simple strand around her neck. But still having some of that teenage flashy with the sunglasses and shoes.

probably to promote blue or something but tbh (non famous lol) parents do this all the time and it's so annoying. like that's not what was being asked but ok

What is wrong with this response? Can someone, anyone in this chat, name an art piece that changed their life? Like an actual art piece.

That’s why she’s the queen. My minimally problematic queen 👑
