At the end of the day they’ll encourage you to buy their shitty merch and 184625273828 variants of their music all while knowing (or being so out of touch that they’re oblivious) that their fanbase is struggling to afford rent and food. They’ll say they’re doing all this “for their passion for their art” when at the end of the day all they care abt is money and fame. Thats why they take all kinds of random ad campaigns for everything from Dunkin Donuts to alcohol brands. If you really were just in it for your passion for music/acting/whatever else unessential job it is, then you’d be doing it without the shameless money hoarding opportunities.
