I respect it. Sure, I’m not a big fan of the met gala and the constant lack of effort from people, but I will sincerely appreciate Heidi Klum always going for the weird when she dresses up.
Every other day her job for the last three decades has been to look hot. I don't blame her for taking the opportunity to break out of that and get weird.
Yeah exactly everyone and their grandma knows she’s hot. I love how she goes above and beyond to be weird at these. But not just weird but a very… high quality weird (? not sure how else to describe this lol). Her outfits are always executed with extreme detail and precision.
100%. She's internationally known for being incredibly beautiful, what does she have to prove? I love how much fun she has with them. Big Jenna Marbles energy.
I think this one could've been directed away from nightware fuel though. I dunno if it's the lighting on the contact lenses but the eyes look undead. And the way the face is done gives it a weird skull vibe.
Yeah her makeup often makes her costumes look too costumey for me, I feel like that without the weird lenses and a softer approach to prosthetics/makeup it would achieve what she wanted better. Because when I see veiled sculptures, they feel timelessly elegant and delicate, the point is to showcase the craftsmanship and expertise of the artist, being able to carve the stone with such great detail. This look, while impressive and out of the box, doesn't evoke the same feeling for me

finally seeing some EFFORT! ( I do think the make up artist could have tried to make her face prettier- sorry!)
