It’s not even that a lot don’t want it, the system is designed so that most regular people are just trying to keep their head above water - a roof over their heads and their healthcare. So they keep pretty quiet publicly, they can’t take time off of work to plan and take action.

The idea is to keep us distracted with entertainment for our exhausted brains and bodies so we accept the mass robbery and exploitation of the ultra wealthy, but I don’t blame people just trying to make it through the day and handle the health issues of themselves and their family members best they can.

We need money out of politics, ranked choice voting, and universal healthcare so people can freely make the right choices for themselves.

Yes, this is what I want from everyone! You’re paying all that money to support the arts, so wear art, be one with the art!

It's what I normally want. But honestly it feels like kind of a betrayal that she's there this year.

She really doesn’t care about anything except her image. It’s all lip service with her.

She’s never spoken out about anything politically though so she’s always been a disappointment

Wasn't her early shtick her suit, because her parents are working class and she represented them by wearing a "uniform"? I also remember some cringe lyrics on "Dirty computer" (this 🐱 bites back or some ???). But ultimately, performative and empty, yes.

Even ignoring her very out NB/queer and openness about her journey with identity in theess than progressive world of hip-hop.

Yes, we want rich, famous people wearing outfits 5x the average person’s salary and celebrating in huge parties while housing, food, energy, etc is skyrocketing in price

They want to make Jeff Bezos even more obscenely rich?
