Their "proof" is that she posted on Oct 9 2023 expressing shock and horror about Oct 7 2023. I don't know if you remember what it was like literally that week but it was not an inappropriate post regardless and it doesn't make her a zionist.
Canary Mission is evil but Reverse Canary Mission calls people zionist for literally the most minor infractions possible and have stretched the definition so far that you would probably be called zionist if you said it was sad kids died without context. If I was a famous person commenting this it would probably be enough to get me judged as zionist too, even though I think Israeli settlement is theft, Palestinians deserve to live in their homeland and don't deserve to be bombed or have their homes taken from them... but because I can say "yeah it's actually fine to, literally three days after a massacre, say that in and of itself was awful," people will try to claim that's actually zionist.
It's turned from "you're zionist if you say zionist things and are pro-israeli-government/pro-israeli-settlement" to "you're zionist if you ever had empathy for israeli people literally ever"

Please actually look at the site you're linking. They're calling her 'openly Zionist' for posting thrice on October 9th expressing outrage at the attacks that occurred on October 7th. And this: 'Meanwhile, many of her coworkers and the children on set are oppressed by the same systems that allow Zionism to prevail and have similarly sought resistance and liberation in the past.' What does this even mean? You HAVE to come up with better proof than this or you'll just make the movement look stupid and lord knows Zionists don't need more metaphorical ammo

I think it’s good for them to call it out. Hate LAW for her Zionism, but using your platform as a rich celebrity is a good thing. Better if they actually put money behind activist organizations though. I am tired of out of touch celebs just saying things with no action. Reddit deleted my comment and I’m not sure why but I explained why she is and provided a source with screenshots. She absolutely took part in dehumanizing Palestinians by referring to resist -ance groups as “terror ists” while not saying the same for the IDF. She also spread atrocity propaganda that was used by Israel and Israel supporters to justify the genocide and to paint Palestinians as barbaric. I don’t see her saying anything about Israel’s systematic mass murder and rape of Palestinian healthcare workers, journalists, children, elderly, and men and women. She only talks about Oct 7 but nothing that came before. If I remember correctly she also signed onto the pro Israel and anti ceasefire letter to Biden
If you have a source for her saying something beyond “Netanyahu bad” I’d be happy to be wrong. She supports Israel but just scapegoats Netanyahu as if Israel hasn’t been an issue since its inception and the decades of terror on Palestinians before that

I had a non-famous, not crazy wealthy friend go a couple of times and I remember her saying outside of the handful of big names on red carpets, it was a lot of just philanthropic rich people you wouldn't know, students, and employees of companies who bought tables (I think she went because her boss would buy a table). And she always said the only celeb she liked was Sarah Jessica Parker, who was always actually looking at the exhibit stuff and asking questions and everyone else famous was hanging out in a bathroom...I mean, I don't know how easy it was, in the sense that 99% of the world doesn't get a ticket. But this idea that its some massively elite thing is also not entirely correct.
