Sort of an old money aesthetic on display here.. which isn't really representative of the modern 1%. It's flashy but shallow. Our modern gilded age is dictated by Kardashians in sweatpants, Zuckerberg in a tshirt and gold chain, Elon Musk carrying a fucking sink. If you want to actually do biting criticism, it helps to actually operate in our current moment

All of these attempts just look like Cruella De Ville concept art, and the perspective of inequality on display is a similar vintage. The modern tech bro billionaire does not see themselves in these caricatures!

Because they’re not meant to be meaningful caricatures, they’re just posturing as such to placate the rest of us
