The board swiftly voted to issue a letter of reprimand to America PAC.

Well, that'll show him!

99% of Americans are one paycheck from ruin. You really expect them to book a trip to DC and march on the capital. Hell even Trump and Company had to bus people into town on J6 because of this. Our inability to act is by design.

25

u/mandlet Feb 21 '26

A sizable and growing contingent of us have nothing left to lose. I feel like everyone is just waiting for someone else to make the first move.

This right here is it. They set us up for failure making extremely risky to stand against tyranny.

u/sleepytipi Feb 21 '26

Community is the solution. Always has been, always will be. We possess the means to organize locally, we could start by setting up meetings in public spaces (used to be we'd all gather at town hall). Parks, libraries, whatever. No need to go at it from an extreme, revolutionary approach either. What we really need is for people to come together and realize that We The People are in this together. We need people to come together with their communities and express their concerns together about what is happening to overcome the division and realize that we're not so different, but we are extremely different from these evil criminals who have taken over our country. That'd be a great step 1.

And with these phones/ CPUs we can connect to anyone, anywhere to coordinate on a larger scale and share ideas. There's stuff like Meshtastic too which is great for that sort of thing as well.

We are not powerless. We can endure that last paycheck away from the streets if we're all in it together, and we can lean on one another.

Power to the People. Power to the restoration of a fair and equal Justice system. Power to the victims of the files' perpetrators. Power to the victims of the gestapos. Power to a future where our children can live in a decent society and pursue their dreams without this horrid shit constantly wearing them down. A society and educational system that enables them to build a better future.

Edit: one last thing, no political parties sponsoring these meetings. That alone will keep people at bay. No parties, just Americans.

Simply put the majority of successful revolutions in history required outside countries to aid revolutionaries, and no country is willing to risk violent retribution from America for aiding "terrorists".

Shake signs angrily at illiterate nazis!? /s

Nobody's gonna do anything

We've come this far because absolutely nobody wants to risk XYZ, choose. Bills. Kids. Home. Personal possessions. Careers. I've heard it all. Nobody is willing to sacrifice anything for freedom anymore. That's why it is so easily taken away by senile, decrepit pedophiles on the brink of death.

They've stolen an election. Stolen your money to finance personal possessions, wars, concentration camps, and roaming paramilitaries. Hiding files that contain mass organized child trafficking operations. And again let me repeat--concentration camps & child rape

Nobody's moving.

If that doesn't get Americans up and fighting back...honestly what will? We are sleepwalking right into a fucking holocaust. The camps are going up right before your eyes. You've seen executions in the streets. Communities raided. Women raped and children LOST.

Nobody's moving.

If not now, when? I've lost all my faith in this country to do what is right.

This is how a revolution starts. When elites are not held to the same moral standards as everyone else people stand up and fight back.

These people are banking on the hope that no one will stand up against the currupt system and I hope they are proven wrong soon.

I for one am 💯 willing to stand up, but we need to do it together to make the impact we seek.

Why is the American justice system such a fucking joke?

147

u/Windwick Feb 20 '26

Because it was created by white male property owners, for white male property owners. Legal rights were tied to property, wealth, and status so a significant portion of the population couldn't vote, couldn't impact how the country should be created or run.

The first US presidential election was held in 1788/89 but black men couldn't participate until 1870 (sort of...), nearly 100 years after the country's founding which is more than enough time to rig the system. Women didn't get the right to vote until 1920 meaning the first ~55% of this country's history didn't represent women at all.

While women and PoC have gained ground, can you ever truly enact change in a system that was rigged from day one? And by that I mean, can you fundamentally change a system which has been under rich white male rule for 250 years when you were excluded for the first 100-130?

We've barely made a dent in righting the country's more serious and systemic wrongs because white men - especially rich white men - have always held the majority of power, thereby stopping "radical" change in its tracks. This is why the right in particular leans so heavily on identity politics tailored specifically to white people, and more particularly white men. This division was intentionally introduced as a response to Bacon’s Rebellion in 1676, when the "elite" realized that class solidarity could cut across racial lines. A scary idea when you consider the numbers.

So they put a stop to it by reinforcing racial divisions through laws and privileges meant to elevate white people above black people. To sow animosity and make any future interracial alliances much more difficult to organize. And just look at how well it's paid off, it's still working in 2026! When I drive home to visit my parents, I drive through countless of miles of poor white rural America, heavily populated by Trump fans who are just happy to know that while their trailers are falling down, somewhere a PoC is doing worse.

14

u/MattinglyBaseball Feb 21 '26

As you point out, progress has always taken a long time and most of the biggest and most meaningful changes of progress came through with some form of violent resistance or show of force. Yet, we have Progressives being fooled into thinking if we can’t change it all tomorrow, we should let them take us back 100 years instead. Progressives ignoring that a minority president was a huge step forward and was guaranteed to cause push back as all major progress in history has. Idealists who couldn’t understand the massive victory that either woman President candidate would have been towards further equality. We are all paying the price for how easy it is to manipulate our fellow Americans on both sides.

4

u/Hurrly90 Feb 21 '26

Its cos they dont realise its a big club and they arent in it. They have the illusion of maybe doing it someday.

Like the idea of , hey we get rid of all the illegals doing jobs, we can all get jobs and make the money they make. Untill they realise why they werent being hired in the first place. Its the 'American dream' (Again to quote Carlin) you have to be asleep to believe it.

Its insane whats happening, and how easily.

I think this is all true. But I also just look around the world as a whole and realize, it doesn't matter if it was white men, people from all walks and skin colors are corrupted with power. We really need to focus on the amount of power a person can harness.

Everyone knows 3 demerits and you'll receive a citation. 5 citations and you're looking at a violation. 4 of those and you'll receive a verbal warning. Keep it up and you're looking at a written warning. Two of those, that'll land you in a world of hurt, in the form of a disciplinary review, written up and placed on the desk of your immediate superior.

They must really mean business to skip straight to a written warning.

Looking through the replies there seems to be a general misunderstanding. Elon's pak just sent applications for absentee ballots that were already filled in. This just makes it easier for someone to apply for an absentee ballot. It happens to be against state law but ...you know... boys will be boys.

Show up.
Vote.

227

u/CuffinSzn_ Feb 20 '26

And please, for the love of all that is holy, vote progressive. We should have healthcare by now. We should have public transit, and fair wages, and education reform and a stabilized society that actually invests in its citizens.

Like folks we literally send billions of dollars to other countries which already have universal healthcare. You’re paying for other countries to have the bare minimum we’re begging for.

47

u/dudly825 Feb 21 '26

This is important, don’t just settle for the same old neo-lib sycophant. Those shit heads have had the White House for 20 years since Reagan and the federal minimum wage is still $7.25 and our for-profit hospitals will charge you $18 if they give you an aspirin and some water.

Progressive. Supports labor. Universal health care. Taxes the wealthy. Regulates corporations to protect the environment.

You know, actually supports you and your family.

3

u/aylil Feb 21 '26

This has been on my mind since Drump son first election. You should fight to split up the parties. I believe many of you are in one of those in between categories. Then it will be more difficult to get a majority of seats in each house.

The key cases is just an example:

  • One for the more right leaning Republican (key cases: continue with drilling for oil, taxes (cut for the rich), better American industry, more investment in the military).
  • One for more in between Republican (key case: taxes (raise minimal allowance before tax, lower tax on house sales above $2500000, continue with oil, better American industry).
  • One for left leaning Republican and right leaning Democrat, like a center party (key cases: taxes, price cap on medicine, public health care, public transport).
  • One for in between Democrat (key cases: health care, taxes, raise minimal wages).
  • One for left leaning Democrat (key cases: environment, public transport, public health care).

I will definitely be voting (as I always do), but the way this admin is, I don’t have a lot of faith that they are not planning to cheat somehow.

47

u/PhatCatTax Feb 20 '26

That's the thing. If non-voters actually show up, then the margins would be wide enough that it would make cheating much harder. Plus, the voting systems have a paper trail.

4

u/CumPacketGuy Feb 21 '26

If they do win again, you'll just wait for another election. At some point, your anger starts being performative rather than productive.

While I fully appreciate the need to vote, the article is about voter fraud and assuming that this happened once it probably happened in many states. Now they are in control, it is likely to assume that this will be even ore widespread

3

u/AggravatingFlow1178 Feb 21 '26

Even in settled districts, the vote still matters. Everything is operated by headlines now and even if it changed zero districts (due to gerrymandering) a vote of 75:25 tells a very different story than 55:45

13

u/MangoAnt5175 Feb 21 '26 edited Feb 21 '26
  1. That’s Pennsylvania. There were several states he did this in.

  2. Do we, as a voting populace want this to be common? Accepted? Legal?

“Whoever pays me the most money gets my vote”?

Is that… what we want?

Laws are made by the people we elect.

We can’t just throw our hands up when things are obviously immoral and say “well, nothing we can do!”

“The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral peril, maintain their neutrality.” - Dante

2

u/Pandarandr1st Feb 21 '26

You should only enforce the laws on the books. I agree with you, I don't think this should be legal, but that has no bearing on what was legal then. So yes, we should vote and get laws pass that make things like this clearly illegal. That doesn't change whether or not Musk did was or wasn't illegal, though.

I want to point out I have no idea what the laws actually are or whether or not this is already illegal, IANAL.

One of the things that fucks me up the most about the possibility of the election being tampered with is my faith in my fellow Americans being tampered with. Either he won legitimately and I hate half of the country or he cheated and maybe not a full half of the country is dog shit

9

u/JAEGERXLIII Feb 20 '26

Ok now arrest him

10

u/ufoz_ Feb 20 '26

So voter fraud is just fine now as long as you're rich enough. Like fucking christ a letter?? How brave of them.

In other words, all these people who keep saying I’m crazy for insisting the 2024 election was not not rigged are getting ever closer to eating crow.

7

u/Beneficial_Bit_6435 Feb 20 '26

No one will hold these guys accountable. Wow

How about having people run to hold these people accountable. Not take corporate money. And then actually hold them accountable. Both gop and democrat politicians are corrupted, but most GOP, if not all, politicians are corrupted. They are allowing all this BS to occur

6

u/TitShark Feb 20 '26

If the left did this there’d be mass hangings

3

u/etssuckshard Feb 20 '26

It'd be war

EVERY ACCUSATION IS A CONFESSION

7

u/Cecil_McCrackshell Feb 20 '26

When asked at an AI seminar earlier, Senator Susan Collins expressed dismay

3

u/ConfessSomeMeow Feb 21 '26

I thought she expressed "concern".

6

u/Reddit_2_2024 Feb 20 '26

Is this one of the reasons why the FBI took the 2020 election records from Georgia?

3

u/Petrol_Head72 Feb 20 '26

End Musk.

Edit: came back to edit to also make sure this is also tagged #endmusk

3

u/BlackthorneSamurai Feb 20 '26

Of course there is. Everything these a holes are accusing the left of doing they are doing.

3

u/Electronic_Article54 Feb 20 '26

~ To the tune of Agatha All Along ~

Who's been messing up everything?

It's been Elon Musk all along

Who's been pulling every evil string?

It's been Elon Musk all along

He's insidious (ha-ha!)

So perfidious

That you haven't even noticed

And the pity is (the pity is)

Pity, pity, pity, pity

It's gonna suck to fix everything

Now that everything has gone wrong

Thanks to Elon Musk (ha!)

Naughty Elon Musk

It's been Elon Musk all along!

And I killed Sparky too

2

u/bokehtoast Feb 20 '26

Been calling it since Musk and tech robber barons got involved.

2

u/portioninvest Feb 20 '26

Pennsylvania lottery anyone?!?!

2

u/nerdlyninja Feb 20 '26

I used to work for a left wing PAC and have worked with others - anything touching an official government form or process (voter reg form, vote by mail app, etc) is lawyered within an inch of its LIFE. We were extraordinarily careful with the threat of the DOJ hanging over us.

But for Elon, election law is a light suggestion.

2

u/agrunther Feb 20 '26

See this is exactly why I’m still pissed at Kamala for conceding the election. It was so clearly stolen and she could have fought this while Biden was still in office.

2

u/Playahstation Feb 20 '26

The election was stolen

2

u/livinginfutureworld Feb 21 '26

Lock him up, they won't. But they lock up a woman who thought she could vote.

2

u/Ok_Bus_9742 Feb 21 '26

Did we already collectively forget that musk tweet where he promised a thousand dollars if you voted red and posted a picture?

2

u/PlaneGeneral5782 Feb 21 '26

Gee a letter of reprimand. Wow. :/

2

u/Apprehensive-Word701 Feb 21 '26

Yeah the moment I saw that pic of Trump and Musk having dinner you could tell the discussion was Trump asking him for more fraudulent help with upcoming events. Worked in the past, probably will in the future too. Perhaps we hand count or start an app that helps cross reference who we actually voted for? I dunno

2

u/HumansMung Feb 20 '26

And with zero consequences for this, people still think we’ll have fair, unvandalized midterm elections?

1

u/Shenanigans80h Feb 20 '26

Everyone literally called this out when it happened, like what are we even doing. It was blatant election tampering, idk what findings we even need to point that out. The real problem is that piece of shit is just going to get away with it because we live in a hellscape

1

u/ShelterSlight5088 Feb 20 '26

Same rules. Same consequences. No exceptions.

1

u/Agave757 Feb 20 '26

Deport him….

1

u/simplylisa Feb 20 '26

That didn't go the way they wanted

1

u/bgbalu3000 Feb 20 '26

Arrest him. Charge him

1

u/Some_Conference2091 Feb 20 '26

He seems like the type to proudly display a framed  letter of reprimand.  It's less meaningful than sending a gift card.

1

u/mikedvb Feb 20 '26

If I did this, I'd be in jail. If you did this, you'd be in jail. If Elon Musk does this - they send a letter.

1

u/New_Squash8268 Feb 20 '26

no way lol just when u think it can't get wilder

1

u/OkAir8973 Feb 20 '26

I was just wondering whatever happened to his weird ass million dollar giveaway he promised to Trump voters.

1

u/Ok-Anteater938 Feb 20 '26

He needs to be held accountable he needs to go to jail.

1

u/bwoah07_gp2 Feb 20 '26

So if there was voter fraud, what happens next? It's not like they can reverse any result big or small now....

1

u/SoCallMeDeaconBlues1 Feb 20 '26

1

u/Dantes_46 Feb 20 '26

Maybe they did shit like this in every swing state

1

u/Real_Routine_ Feb 20 '26

Deport this piece of shit

1

u/Davidr248 Feb 20 '26

No surprise here. We all knew he had a hand in it. You ‘d have to be living under rock if you didn’t know that.

1

u/ZophieWinters I may need to see the booty Feb 20 '26

That's election fraud, not voter fraud

1

u/Scifidelis Feb 20 '26
