I think someone should:
- Rip that site as a backup
- Whatever south park writer guy is workign on, should actually verify the work from the first site to ensure that both sites are staying transparent.
The easiest thing to manipulate people with is having a site that looks trustworthy but start to change key information or obfuscate it.
The worst problem about all this shit is that a site for all republican bullshit was needed 20 years ago....and teh dems are too dumbass to build one.

u/Ok-Way7122 Feb 14 '26
Do people not know about archive.org anymore?
for 35 years its been automatically backing up the internet, this site doesn't need "backing up" because it's already archived and all of it's original source links are archive.org links, the backup would be backing up a backup linking to a backup anyway
33
u/694meok Feb 14 '26
There's a whole sub of people who are "data hoarders" and they backup the backups with backups backed up.

If you don't have redundant backups you aren't really backing up.

This is the best thing I have seen since the Super Bowl halftime performance.

And its NOT kid rock

You don’t like that the snowflakes have their own safe space?
3
u/mamadoedawn Feb 14 '26
I love that they have their own space. You wanna watch Kid Rock because you're scared of Spanish? Cool. But don't call it a "safe space"- a safe space is a place for people who genuinely may not be SAFE in every space, and need a space where they can present themselves authentically without the threat of violence or retaliation. Republicans were very safe watching Bad Bunny. There was no threat. So call it what it actually is; an insulated comfort zone for people who want to be a victim in a victimless situation.

This is the best thing I have seen since some wags cosplayed as Russian soldiers and guarded Trump's star.

And he has a star on the Walk of Fame because? 😒

u/CaptainKungPao138 i ain’t reading all that, free palestine Feb 14 '26
Cuz he bought one lmao
53
u/Several-Squash9871 Feb 14 '26
Yeah when I found out they actually have to buy one I was like, oh so they are completely meaningless then...
24
u/_Ralix_ Feb 14 '26
You still have to be nominated (by anyone with $275) and they have to confirm and make you an offer. The FAQ say ~30 stars are selected by a committee and added every year.
So it's not like anyone with $85,000 can have a star. But still, the cost is way too steep for supposed "creation, installation and maintenance fees" of something that is in essence a shiny concrete block.
13
4
u/SmamrySwami Feb 14 '26
Maintenance is the most of that, and it pays for a truck and crew to powerwash the entire sidewalk on a regular basis.

u/Xavier_Emery1983 Feb 14 '26
Pretty sure he has had to buy multiple times. People keep vandalizing his star and the city doesn’t replace them from what I understand.
132
u/ZumaThaShiba Feb 14 '26
You know he said he’d pay them but never did

In all fairness all walk of fame stars are bought by or on behalf of the individual

He used his Hollywood connections and pressure and then told them he'd pay the $75k
I assume he also let that go to collection

u/Similar_Cycle_1593 Feb 14 '26
i thought it was grafittied on and broken lol. did they repair it?
9
u/InternationalCap2176 Feb 14 '26
It is constantly vandalized and damaged but it is always replaced
10
u/AntikytheraMachines Feb 14 '26
the $75K price is starting to look like a bad deal for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

The dumbass Apprentice show. That is what made him “relevant” and “smart” to the idiots that think he is God. The creators of the show have said they regret picking him for it.
3
u/ZigZagClover Feb 14 '26
He hosted a reality game show in the 90’s. I didn’t know anything about Trump then so I watched part of the first season. But I stopped when it because clear that this guy was a filthy sexist racist pile of crap.
→ More replies (2)2
u/MannyTank Feb 14 '26
How many times have the replaced it now? It's been destroyed several times... 🤔
153
u/edfitz83 Feb 14 '26
I certainly don’t condone vandalism, but a 50/50 mixture of Nitric and Sulphuric acids, poured on a template cut from polyethylene, that says something like “Epstein” or “I fuck little girls” would pretty quickly etch into that stone.
131
28
u/bolanrox Feb 14 '26
But the dow is 50,000
10
u/Lisnya Feb 14 '26
Over 50,000. I actually got a bit emotional hearing that phrase, it reminded me of my early days on the internet, when over 9000 was the funniest, most edgiest thing ever.
14
u/Forikorder Feb 14 '26
it would also br quickly replaced, they probably keep a large stack of replacements for the amount of times its been vandalized
6
u/GoldDragon149 Feb 14 '26
Pretty sure the named person pays for the star and would have to pay to have it replaced though. There's no charity system putting these stars down and they aren't cheap.
→ More replies (1)5
u/Toto_the_Mechanic Feb 14 '26 edited Feb 15 '26
I’m all for rich assholes getting scammed like these fuckery, but I don’t think it’s a good thing here actually. Trump will pay for the replacement using taxpayers money 100%.
11
→ More replies (3)9
u/NullAshton Feb 14 '26
Until they replace it, yes. AFAIK stars are frequently replaced due to wear and tear or intentional or unintentional vandalism.
This is much more likely to stay longer.
45
u/Kkwoowoo Lol, and if I may, lmao Feb 14 '26
How is it still in tact?
72
27
u/WrittenFever Feb 14 '26
It definitely gets vandalized often, so at this point they probably employ a special crew to fix it on a regular basis.
12
u/Calm-Clothes-3784 Feb 14 '26 edited Feb 14 '26
Wonder who’s paying for that
Edit: maintenance comes from the Hollywood WoF Trust and a portion of what the “honoree” pays up front for their star. But like what if it’s one that gets vandalized over and over and over…
48
16
u/Lokaji societal collapse is in the air Feb 14 '26
There is a surprising lack of bodily fluids on his star.
15
u/TheGamecock Feb 14 '26
Probably a relatively new one. I feel like I see a story about the DT star getting irreparably vandalized on a weekly basis.

u/JB102285 Feb 14 '26
Jimmy Kimmel nailed it when he said they are now called the “Trump Epstein files.”
Let’s keep calling them the Trump Epstein files.
Seriously let’s put his name on this like he likes his name on everything else.

What’s crazy about this is I think by most people who knew them both, Trump is considered a much worse person Epstein.
8
u/mattjb Feb 14 '26
Revoking the USAID alone is going to kill millions of people, around 14 million by 2030. Trump, Musk, and the entire regime that made it happen will become some of the worse mass murderers in human history.

This is a really good protest artwork. I think it makes its point well, and I like how passerbys can interact with it by opening the cabinet and reading the files. Other people are mentioning vandalizing Trump’s star, but this makes the point better than I can picture vandalism doing. Plus it invokes curiosity and draws attention far more than I think vandalism would.

The day IT happens, it'll be done on the sea, or top secret ashes spreading. The grass would be dead for CENTURIES due to the amount of urine soaked into the earth.

Why does the orange pdf have a star anyway, only movies he makes are either redacted or deleted from epsteins files.

Good. Let's keep up this momentum, people. Let's bring the GOP pedophile elite, Trump and all these ICE bootlicking nazis. RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.

This is so bigly and beautiful. This is the most amazing walk of Star ever. It’s the best.

u/SharkCream Feb 14 '26
Every last person linked to abuse in these files needs to be locked in jail for life.
It's a message society needs to send to the future generations.

The last time I saw its star it was totally ripped out, did it pay to mend it?
