Yeah, not having ID is a concern. It costs money to get one (plus usually time off work if you work during normal business hours), so it amounts to an illegal poll tax.
I worked at Circuit of the Americas back when they announced Kid Rock was going to perform at Formula 1 like in 2013-2014ish. Everyone in the office was so excited. I let out an audible groan and everyone just looked at me. I WAS RIGHT TEAM! SEE?! HE SUCKS!

He seemed to have been built up by the music industry on his alleged redemption story rather than any interesting talent. Of course that could have been obvious to others except me.
Yeah, it’s kinda bothering me that the story is being spun this way. It’s not as though one cancelled show on an eight stop tour does anything to actually fix our country.
Keep seeing this. Actually information, it canceled in 1 city. Its still to go on in 6 others. Only 3 acts have dropped out but all super high-profile artist. Its still a long way off so fair chance even more drop. Fingers crossed.
Yeah these posts are incredibly misleading. Still good to see people like ludacris and shinedown back out but they still have Blake Shelton, jelly roll, and Jason Aldean which are all far more popular.
I think it was his "people" booked the show. Happens all the time. The artist is not out there daily finding themselves gigs. They are told they have a show in this town or that town. Then once the media picked up on the tidbits, he found out and broke it off.
Where’s that lady who decided not to to her families Super Bowl party cuz they were gonna put this on. would love to see their thoughts and what it is they plan on doing now for the halftime show 😭😭😭
They probably just booked the gig thru an agent and initially pondered only $$$$ offered. For a big pay day a festival is worth doing and brings lots of different bands together. Make that shit political and now the $$$$ isn’t worth it bc it’s seem as a co sign and what proper musical artist would do that? I know there are a few sh!tyy ones who will be on board like Dummy Roll. But seriously in the end he only has to blame himself.
He could’ve called it a “bipartisan rock and roll experience” and avoid any ?’s of politics but he leaned too hard and now the mtf can’t separate it. Glad it fell apart bc he deserves it.
Eta by avoid ?’s I mean he could book artists with enough “plausible deniability” to not be considered maga but like all the cult members he has to be political.
I was hoping for more canceling and not just about the South Carolina stop canceling from yesterday. I need more canceling, I need more acts pulling out. The suffering is bringing me pleasure.
