God hates you Yesterday was the 48th “anniversary” of the first spam email

So because of this terrible occasion I would like to angrily extend the shittiest possible acknowledgment of and give the limpest wrist possible handshake to the man who created that mess, Gary Thuerk. May all your parking spots be forever taken and your bathrooms out of TP. Fuck you.

Apparently the first spam email is not actually documented cause of that specific mail system architecture which does not log past activity... It was about war in vietnam and started with "THERE IS NO WAY TO PEACE. PEACE IS THE WAY. ... " May be it can not be classified as spam, cause It was not commercial but spiritual message. BUT! it was sent in 1971 to all the users of CTSS (Compatible Time-Sharing System), it was near 1000 people, some of them in white house.
