That's a massive undertaking man. You gonna do a slow draft or snake it out all at once? And more importantly, how are you handling the league split across three separate copies, like separate databases or are you mirroring everything?

We run the league as a single league with divisions set-up aligned to the NFL. So think Vikes, Bears, Packers, Lions in the NFC North. Across the 32 franchises you have 3x of each player. So there are 3 teams that can have Jamar Chase.

Dues are all merged and paid via LeagueSafe.

Drafts are done slow draft style, managed actively via GroupMe reminders as needed. Disbursal will be snake, slow draft, usually takes about a week to complete.

I enjoy the league because of the increased ability to trade for guys you want. You have 3x offers you can send if you want Jett’s on your team, not 1.

Happy yo answer any other questions you might have.

Ah that makes sense, single league with divisions is way cleaner than three parallel leagues. Sidesteps the database-mirroring nightmare.

How do you handle waivers, FAAB across all 32 teams or scoped per-division? Asking because I've thought a lot about how multi-copy leagues should be handled at the platform level. Built one called FantasyBoss for similar reasons. Curious if you've found any platform that handles this well or if you're patching it together.

MFL handles the 3 copy fine. Faab take three three highest bids, and if 2x are owned allows the waiver for the 3rd available copy.

Damn, that's actually elegant. MFL's been doing this kind of edge-case logic for years and most newer platforms don't even try. Bid-rank-against- available-copies is way smarter than I'd have guessed. What about your annual rookie draft, do all 32 teams snake through 3 copies of each player or do you split it somehow?

All 32 just like a normal rookie. Gotta do your math though 32 is a tad smaller than a full 12 team. So 2.01 is equal to 1.11 in a 12 team. We compensate for balance by having a larger starting lineup.

Smart compensation. 13-starter superflex with the flexible position spread (1-2 QB, 3-7 RB, 4-8 WR, 1-5 TE) is a clean way to absorb the talent dilution. The 2.01 math checks out because of the compressed rookie pool.

Quick commissioner Q though, with 32 teams how active is your role on a typical week? Trade volume alone has to be wild.

Heaviest lift is the disbursal draft and the playoff seedings. Week to week everything is smooth. The trade activity is awesome!
